I couldn't watch the clip. My computer won't let me. ITN, what was it?

It's one of those things you have to listen to, but basically it was a CBC broadcast on how to go about deserting the US army during the Vietnam War.

Why the hell would CBC broadcast something like that?

I liked the part of the loyal officer at the end. Good humour.

The CBC was basically broadcasting about Americans who had deserted who were helping other Americans to desert. It is not that CBC is simply telling Americans how to desert.

When you consider that about sixty thousand Americans died in a war that accomplished absolutely nothing, and that several million Vietnamese, Cambodians, and Laotians were also killed, the war in Vietnam was an unGodly tragedy.
