okay I got one...actually I got a bunch...but I kinda like this one..

A college teacher reminds her class of tomorrow's final exam. "Now class, I won't tolerate any excuses for you not being here tomorrow. I might consider a nuclear attack or a serious personal injury or illness, or a death in your immediate family, but that's it , no other excuses whatsoever!" A smart ass guy in the back of the room raised his hand and asked, "What would you say if tomorrow I said I was suffering from complete and utter sexual exhaustion?" The entire class is reduced to laughter and snickering. When silence is restored, the teacher smiles knowingly at the student, shakes her head and sweetly says "Well, I guess you'd have to write the exam with your other hand."

I get called a "smart ass" all the time. I thinks it's cause I tend towards the sarcastic end of the spectrum...

I reply with a "better a smart ass then a dumb ass" .

Usually shuts people up....for a little while.

Where do young folks today get the money to buy coffee at Starbucks? My wife and I are both professionals and make good salaries but I'll be darned if I'd spend a dollar for a cup of coffee. I even see Starbucks popping up at the university. Don't folks have thermoses anymore?

Then again, I'm not a connoiseur of what's called 'good' coffee. I prefer instant (Encore) coffee. If I want to get 'the shakes' I'll watch live debate from the House of Commons.

I need new avatar ideas...any volunteers? One place on the island makes Starbucks drins, and my sister-in law works there...Can you say discount on my Caramel machiatto!!!

when people tell me that I'm not normal, I retort that "normal" only exists as a setting on my washing machine

Might be that you grew up in a different time. A time where kids were not encourage to become all consuming consumers.
We currently live in a society afflicted with Afluenza.

"You drive me crazy".

"That would be a shot trip".

Oh, and the Starbucks coffee poll ...

Their coffee is truly terrible, most ppl go to Starbucks for the cappos and mochas or whatever special names they call them so they can charge unreal prices. Nope, I go to a local roaster or local coffee shop ... and sometimes Second Cup, but never Starbucks. Oh, and forget about the double-double at THs as well, the reason ppl add double cream and double sugar is to kill the taste of what they sell for coffee there.

(Sounds like Starbucks and THs drive me crazee )

BTW, put my name down for an avatar too. A mangy ol' dawg if ya got one.

My favorite place to go for a simple large double-double. is Robins...One just opened by my house too Yippiee . I really like a small local coffee house named Beanz too, very good steamers and the like. But if I get cheap starbucks, I'll take advantage of it

Give me a Scenario, and I'll give you a quip
