It may be because of volcanics, I have read that the fire has now spread to BC and is bigger. Has anyone heard that as well?

I believe the BC fires are also in fracking areas. The craton is close to both fire locations aparently. Also the past weeks have seen lots of volcanic earthquake activity. The environment may well have set of the fire, in which case the envirotards may be at odds with thier mission. As a matter of fact how could any fire start if the environment did not agree with the laws of thermodynamics If the environment wants to burn the planet, will the environmentalist object?

Moffatt is also a volunteer on the board of the Lethbridge Public Library, which issued a statement on its website insisting the tweet doesn’t reflect its views.

Kinda hypocritical that people cut him slack and he gets to keep his job while others(regular people) who are in the same boat for saying stupid **** get fired from their jobs.

Unfortunately, when something is repeated often enough, it "becomes" the truth which is what has happened insofar as climate change is concerned - truth be damned.

Fire is a completely natural thing perhaps this has not occured to the faux environmentalist. Would they but study the subject they would no doubt be surprised to learn that plasma is not an invention of mankind. Having said that it is a short trip to imagine that impeeding fires natural progress could be seen as environmental irresponsibility in the same league as clubbing baby seals. Fire is the root of life on this planet.
