Yes this Prime Minister is long ago dead. He died December 12, 1894 in Windsor Castle. Pretty POSH place to kick the bucket so to speak. Evidently NO Canadians are aware of this TRIVIA! Laneagan

Yes that is true but I was a social studies teacher and none of my colleagues knew either. I have spoken to history departments at 6 universities and have not found a Canadian history professor who knew this tidbit of history. They didn't even know at Dalhousie but they are up to their asses in misogeny alligators. Did you have to google SIr John David Sparrow?

The David Sparrow part, I may have to Google (which, on Half-dead FRED is almost futile) but I recall hearing of his work in womens' rights many moons ago in elementary school.
