Isn't 06 getting a little long in the tooth for an over the road truck? Must be over a million K by now.

Not really, the rig might have already been rebuilt or had its bearings rolled. There's lots of 06's out there. The biggest issue is wiring.

A million K is nothing. That's only 600,000 miles

Even a Million Miles is nothing.. you have an inFrame done..

This is the USA 2006 is not long in the tooth, there are plenty of much older trucks on the road down here..

A CAT engine with a inFrame (rebuilt) easily 2 million miles.. C15 is a tough engine and it's a southern truck.. no real corrosion to be worried about. California to Texas, Arkansas and Tennessee.

Most of the southern states don't salt or sand.. after an ice storm it's "if God put it there, he can take it away."

Anyhow, I'm just sitting here are Frito Lay in Irving, Texas waiting on a load going to Midland, Texas.. light load and easy.. potato chips.

Still a few more days running the 2007 Freightliner, before I jump into my Peterbilt Monday. Just gave it a bath that day in Casa Blanca, Arizona at the Blue Beacon.

Well yeah!!

My goal is to have several trucks running locally between Dallas, TX and Houston, TX running up and down Interstate 45. Hence I45trans.com

Local pays better than long haul..

Trucks down here are cheap, cheap, cheap... compare to up there..
