A man who sent a woman he met in a coffee shop a short video of himself in attempt to woo her has inadvertently started a viral craze.

After taking the phone number of a girl he met at a branch of Starbucks, Brody Ryan sent her a short clip of himself in an apparent attempt to win her heart.
The 16-second clip shows Mr Ryan staring into the camera, smiling and then hiding his eyes behind his hands as Drake’s “Hold On We’re Going Home” plays in the background.
Rather than swoon, the target of his affections sent the video to her friend, who posted it on Instagram where it quickly became a viral sensation.
The clip has since prompted scores of parodies across several social networking platforms.
