Two weeks ago hiker John Stoneman was driving with his girlfriend through Kinzua State Park in Pennsylvania when they came across two Bigfoot/Bigfoots/Bigfeet.

He quickly whipped out his camera and took a few photos of the seven foot tall hairy Hominids.

Mr Stoneman, from Bradford, PA, said: 'I'm a sceptic myself, I'm not a believer, but this was not a bear and you can see fur on it.

'It's wider at the shoulders and tapers down whereas a bear is bigger in the middle and stands differently with its paws out, this was standing like a man, like a Bigfoot.

'At first some people have discredited it and said it's just a root ball at the bottom of a fallen tree, but I've been back to the exact spot and there is no root ball there.

'We do have black bears, but they are considerably smaller than this, it was standing about seven-foot tall.'

Bigfeet? This image, taken just two weeks ago near Bradford, Pennsylvania, is believed to show two of the mysterious creatures known as Bigfoot wandering through the woods

Apeman: A close up shows one of the 'beasts' spotted just yards from a main road through trees in Kinzua State Park

Lurking: The fascinating photographs were taken by keen hiker John Stoneman who was on his way home with his girlfriend from a festival with his girlfriend when the pair spotted the mysterious shape moving in the forest

Bigfoot isn't real.... He would have been encountered in America back in the day when America cleared 90% of the old growth forests.....

He WAS encountered back in the day.

The indigenous peoples of North America spoke of Bigfoot long before the Europeans arrived and long before a single name for the creature even existed. Members of the Lummi in Washington state tell tales about Ts'emekwes, the local version of Bigfoot.

In 1847, Paul Kane reported stories by the native people about skoocooms: a race of cannibalistic wild men living on the peak of Mount St. Helens. The skoocooms appear to have been regarded as supernatural, rather than natural.

In 1840, Reverend Elkanah Walker, a Protestant missionary, recorded stories of giants among the Native Americans living in Spokane, Washington. The Indians claimed that these giants lived on and around the peaks of nearby mountains and stole salmon from the fishermen's nets.

Distribution of sightings of Bigfoot in North America based on information from the BFRO Geographical Database of Bigfoot/Sasquatch Sightings & Reports. The huge number of sightings in California compared with, for example, the more sparse number of sightings throughout Canada may be a reflection of the populations of humans in those places rather than the populations of Bigfoot (38 million in California compared with 33 million in the whole of Canada)
