Where is the BEST skiing in Canada??

Can anyone answer this..

Whistler Blackcomb

Big White

Revelstoke

Banff

Mont Tremblant

Mont Sutton

...any other?

Where would you go on a ski vacation in Canada, and do you know of any new ski resorts in Canada that are developing in your area?

Oh yeah, which do you do... ski or snow board?

It depends on the type of snow you like and the services on site.

Put me down for Kimberly otherwise I ski cheaper, less crowded Montana.

The best skiing is where ever the best conditions exisist on a given day.
Hence the term "ski bum".
If you can chase the patrol down a hill right after a huge snow dump and cut virgin tracks down a run... thats about as good as it gets anywhere.
Heli skiing in Canada is pricey but usually delivers good snow.
A little cheaper is sno-cat skiing which is usually pretty decent and yet still avoids the crowds.
Google is your friend and so is environment Canada's weather site.
Resort wise Whistler/Blackcomb is big enough to keep you busy exploring for a day or three.

But bring your Gortex because you're gonna get soaked if you don't.

Absolutely true.
Its like year round spring skiing at Whistler.
Still its big, has vertical and it gets the snow.
Catch it after a cold snap/ heavy dump and its a great while it holds up.

That or your like the Aussie kids loading the lifts who spend all winter chasing condition.

I lived in Whistler for a year. It's great but I prefer the dry snow of the Eastern Rockies.

Looks like we follow each other around, I lived in Squamish for a year...........1984.

Mt. Washington generally gets the most snow.

You'd almost think so. 86/87 in Whistler for me.
