8 k is better. Anf then there's OLED tv. http://www.trustedreviews.com/news/samsung-55-inch-oled-tv-to-be-called-es9500-sports-new-slimmer-design-is-upgradeable-with-smart-evolution-kit
Ah yes, I'm bulging with profundities in all directions.... you sure do have a poetic funny streak.
I'll stick with my 20" television set with regular sound. I wouldn't have more than just basic cable, but stupid Cogeco made it a requirement to get the converter to digital so now I'm stuck with that.
Feeling generous, huh?Great, we can watch 500 channels of crap in a resolution that matches the real world. TV technology isn't what needs improvement, most people can't tell the difference between 720p and 1080p anyway, and what possible difference could it make when 95% of the content sucks out loud, 4% merely sucks, only 1% is worth the time to watch, and you have to pay for all the crap to get that 1%?

Are you stuck with Cogeco too? My daughter was stuck with that in Kingston, apparently their channel line up really sucks compared to Rogers.
Rogers sucks for other reasons though.
I hope you're not with bell.
Dex was being generous with 1%, I think. We have Shaw Direct here and maybe 0.25% of the content is worth watching. I can't see the content across Canada being much different regardless of carrier.
I still can't see much difference. I mean I could likely pick any channel from any carrier and still consider its content to be 99.75% crap. lolNo, I'm talking cable providers.
The channels will be the same overall, but according to my daughter the channels available on the Cogeco basic cable lineup wasn't as good as the Rogers basic cable lineup. Many of the channels we got with basic cable with Rogers here she didn't get on basic cable with Cogeco in Kingston. So I was wondering if Shadow had noticed anything similar since he has Cogeco as well.
Doesn't make a difference if you have the whole shebang of course.
Bell has some type of cable "Fibe" i thinkNo, I'm talking cable providers.

Ah. A bigger pile of shyte still stinks as bad. lolNot taking quality, talking quantity. LOL.

Yep. Well, it's not like I watch a ton of television anyhow. I try and catch Castle when I can, and watch the odd sports event(baseball game, hockey game, poker tourney, etc.). I don't like commercials.
