Wow. The driver of that SUV didn't have a chance. Even had the guy in the white shirt gotten there immediately, I don't think he would have been able to get the driver(and any others in the vehicle?) out in time. It looked like the other car might have run a stop sign, so if that is the case I wonder what charges they will get(vehicular manslaughter?).8O
I don't know. Sometimes accidents appear from the most innocuous of circumstances. I think it's legit.
I know special effects people are pretty good at what they do, and car chases with explosions have been a mainstay in police/action movies and TV for decades but this seems pretty extreme without a big budget (and a production to cover those costs). The guy in white looks like he got missed by the narrowest of margins in a situation that would have been difficult to stage... but why does the camera swing wide just before the collision? I didn't hear a horn or anything but a poor quality recording is a lot different than being on the scene...
Poor Pinky may have ended up being put asleep after that demonstration!8O
I paused it just as it was hitting the bike, and it sure looked like it just missed creaming the guy.
The front left side is wiped out, there's parts on the ground, and the scale is perfect for a 250, bitch Ninja.
My problem is the guy in white keeps looking up at traffic. And as Shiv pointed out, the camera pans wide to the left, for real reason.
The accident itself looked very real but the subsequent fire and the kaboom looked a little cartoony to me.
I'm pretty sure I've seen Pinky before. In a televised documentary special that highlighted animals at their most vicious. I believe the opening piece was about squirrels attacking the mailman.
Yes, it was funny and no, I could not find my remote that day.
