Entering the Greatest Depression in History
More Bubbles Waiting to Burst

By Andrew Gavin Marshall

Global Research, August 7, 2009

Introduction

While there is much talk of a recovery on the horizon, commentators are forgetting some crucial aspects of the financial crisis. The crisis is not simply composed of one bubble, the housing real estate bubble, which has already burst. The crisis has many bubbles, all of which dwarf the housing bubble burst of 2008. Indicators show that the next possible burst is the commercial real estate bubble. However, the main event on the horizon is the “bailout bubble” and the general world debt bubble, which will plunge the world into a Great Depression the likes of which have never before been seen.

the only people that suffered in the depression is the ones who had debts and the banks got assets for free.

Laughter is an important coping mechanism.
I agree.

I find myself laughing in yours and petros' presence, continuously. I guess it aids in coping with the stupidity you present as information.

It doesn't matter that market trends, severely differing economic regulatory standards and laws scream the Canadian market will fair far better and recover faster. Your doomsday blatherings from sites that need a map to find their collective asses are as much fact as you need to come to your predetermined conclusions.

Try actually reading some market reports, watching the trends, or even looking into how our market differs greatly from all the other global markets.

I know, I know, you have no need. Global Research and your own limited understanding of the economy, finance, the Canadian banking system and the laws that govern it, is all you need...

Enjoy your Kool-aid.

That's totally off-base. Even among those who didn't have debts, if they had a lower level of education, they would be less able to cope in the job market, debt or no debt. And let's remember at that time they had minimal government support.

And lets not forget the environmental and agricultural contributions.

Some peoples grasp of history is so deluded, it transcends all topics.

Not directed at you of machjo.

How old is the kool-aid thing by now Bear? Why don't they get you people new weapons to fight TWOT?
Some things never go out of style.

Take your delusional grasp on history, fact, reality and its infestation of almost everything you post. Your eluding to some fictitious group supplying me with material to combat socialist doomsdayers like yourself is only proof of your delusions and illusions.

This piece you posted, took me all of two minutes to prove idiotic.

Though I agree with the premise of your distrust of capitalism, your math, your facts and your reality, ends up aiming your gun at your foot each and every time.

Your message, like many others, is lost in the hyperbole of your ideology.

If only you could see that.

And of course when confronted with unchallengeable facts, let name calling and stupidity guide you. How long will that tactic be your usual MO, before you tire of it?

How many global markets does one globe have bear?
I see reading comprehension is now an issue for you as well.

Hey man I try not to let my limited understanding get in my way.
That's made clearly and sadly obvious by the idiocy of your posts.

What Canadian banking system?
My point made abundantly clear.

And DB, my apologies if the thread is offensive; I only meant for fun. If it is offensive, please let a mod know and ask to shut this thread down. I hope it's OK.

Hey, if you want to start a lighthearted thread about me, go right ahead. Fair is fair.
