America is 'the most dysfunctional' democracy

*** A study has produced figures which remind us yet again that the USA is by almost any chosen measure the most crime-ridden, violent, corrupt, and morally bankrupt societies in history. Yet their leaders claim to be so proud of their system of "freedom" and "democracy" that they must actively export it to other countries -- and by force and extreme violence if the crusade is resisted. ***

Societies worse off 'when they have God on their side'

RELIGIOUS belief can cause damage to a society, contributing towards high murder rates, abortion, sexual promiscuity and suicide, according to research published today.

According to the study, belief in and worship of God are not only unnecessary for a healthy society but may actually contribute to social problems.

The study counters the view of believers that religion is necessary to provide the moral and ethical foundations of a healthy society.

It compares the social peformance of relatively secular countries, such as Britain, with the US, where the majority believes in a creator rather than the theory of evolution. Many conservative evangelicals in the US consider Darwinism to be a social evil, believing that it inspires atheism and amorality.

Many liberal Christians and believers of other faiths hold that religious belief is socially beneficial, believing that it helps to lower rates of violent crime, murder, suicide, sexual promiscuity and abortion. The benefits of religious belief to a society have been described as its “spiritual capital”. But the study claims that the devotion of many in the US may actually contribute to its ills.

The paper, published in the Journal of Religion and Society, a US academic journal, reports: “Many Americans agree that their churchgoing nation is an exceptional, God-blessed, shining city on the hill that stands as an impressive example for an increasingly sceptical world.

“In general, higher rates of belief in and worship of a creator correlate with higher rates of homicide, juvenile and early adult mortality, STD infection rates, teen pregnancy and abortion in the prosperous democracies.

“The United States is almost always the most dysfunctional of the developing democracies, sometimes spectacularly so.”

Gregory Paul, the author of the study and a social scientist, used data from the International Social Survey Programme, Gallup and other research bodies to reach his conclusions.

He compared social indicators such as murder rates, abortion, suicide and teenage pregnancy.

The study concluded that the US was the world’s only prosperous democracy where murder rates were still high, and that the least devout nations were the least dysfunctional. Mr Paul said that rates of gonorrhoea in adolescents in the US were up to 300 times higher than in less devout democratic countries. The US also suffered from “ uniquely high” adolescent and adult syphilis infection rates, and adolescent abortion rates, the study suggested.

Mr Paul said: “The study shows that England, despite the social ills it has, is actually performing a good deal better than the USA in most indicators, even though it is now a much less religious nation than America.”

He said that the disparity was even greater when the US was compared with other countries, including France, Japan and the Scandinavian countries. These nations had been the most successful in reducing murder rates, early mortality, sexually transmitted diseases and abortion, he added.

Mr Paul delayed releasing the study until now because of Hurricane Katrina. He said that the evidence accumulated by a number of different studies suggested that religion might actually contribute to social ills. “I suspect that Europeans are increasingly repelled by the poor societal performance of the Christian states,” he added.

He said that most Western nations would become more religious only if the theory of evolution could be overturned and the existence of God scientifically proven. Likewise, the theory of evolution would not enjoy majority support in the US unless there was a marked decline in religious belief, Mr Paul said.

“The non-religious, proevolution democracies contradict the dictum that a society cannot enjoy good conditions unless most citizens ardently believe in a moral creator.

“The widely held fear that a Godless citizenry must experience societal disaster is therefore refuted.”

Religious belief in rich democratic countries is linked with high levels of murder, sexual infection, teenage pregnancy and abortion, a study suggested yesterday. The most 'godless' societies -- such as Japan, France and Sweden -- had lower rates of lethal crime, early death, and abortion, researchers claimed.
Study leader Gregory Paul told the US Journal of Religion and Society "The US is almost always the most dysfunctional of the democracies -- sometimes spectacularly so."

dysfunctional?? Would go with that one.. Plus some valuable statistics..... (and not surprising...)

WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION: POWER & MONEY

Deanna Spingola

NewsWithViews.com

Any crisis, national or state, that brings in the federal government is going to have one result. The citizens of this country are going to lose more of their constitutionally guaranteed freedoms as the federal government imposes more regulations under the guise of protecting us. As the regulations flow from the elite, who are never affected by the crisis, our Constitution is being dismantled, piece by piece. With any crisis, war or otherwise, someone is going to have to clean it up or manufacture massive amounts of weapons. Some well connected entities, such as Halliburton or the Carlyle Group, are going to make major money.[1] It is also handy if these well connected companies have the right allies.[2]

In order to go to war, there must be an enemy. The government designated enemies for 11 September 2001 were the terrorists. The propaganda ministry told us that fifteen of them were discovered to be from Saudi Arabia and that the master mind was Osama bin Laden. And certainly he must have been a master mind to pull off such a major event against the most powerful country in the world. No matter, Saddam Hussein had long been a thorn in the side of one of his neighbors which also made him a thorn in the side of the neo conservatives in the Bush Administration. Ignoring government intelligence and within hours of the attack, Rumsfeld said in talking with his neo conserve cronies and trying to connect Saddam Hussein to the 9/11 attack: Get the "best info fast. Judge whether good enough hit S.H. [Saddam Hussein] at same time. Not only UBL [Osama Bin Laden]. Go massive. Sweep it all up. Things related and not."[3]

So all they had to do was manufacture a tie between these two well known enemies. If that scheme failed then how about providing evidence that Iraq was harboring, supporting or sponsoring terrorism? And, if that didn't work how about claiming that Iraq was producing weapons of mass destruction and thus was a threat to the United States. And if that didn't work, how about bombing them into democracy? Whichever contrived reason worked produced the same results: we went to war against a country that was devastated because of the sanctions, they could hardly care for their basic needs - forget weapons of mass destruction. Then after the bombing subsided we could have our friend's companies rebuild the entire country. What a plan! War was the tactic but money was the objective. And the objective of money - POWER! The powerful obtained more power by imposing the Patriot Act which encompassed all kinds of personal abuses against others - some U.S. citizens and some the unfortunate who were designated and incarcerated as terrorists.

There you have motive, opportunity and desire. Desire and motive are easy. Opportunity is harder. Wars can be sold to the public by the propaganda ministry via the elite owned press and some expensive public relations. Combined, this can either garner our sympathies or perpetuate our worst fears. War puts money into the pockets of the elite while young and patriotic Americans put their lives on the line. And the rest of us stay home, listen to the evening news on fair and balanced cable TV and accept deprivation of individual rights for the good of the masses. If anyone speaks out they are demonized by the fair and balanced news purveyors as being anti-American. After all, the administration is just doing what is best for us and trying to protect the fatherland.

There are other catastrophes in addition to war that precipitate huge stacks of money being deposited into the coffers of the international bankers. They are the real benefactors of any catastrophe in whatever country you might name. They are the recipients of all the interest on government loans. They print the bank notes, and loan the money, often to both fighting factions, who fight the wars and then collect the interest from each side, the triumphant and the vanquished. Even if there is no definitive winner, such as the case of our fifteen year resource sapping Vietnam. War is not only hell - it is expensive, both monetarily and in lost lives. Not only does it deplete a country's resources, it promotes cultural divisions. Sometimes, the country itself breaks apart - like the Soviet Union did after their own resource sucking Vietnam - Afghanistan. Whatever the national negative results in any country, the international bankers experience gross profit. All the resources that were drained end up in their pockets - just like a big conduit.

Unlike war, blame is usually never attached to natural disasters. However, government response, whether it is rapid or as slow as molasses in January, demands either praise or justifiable accountability.[4] Mike Brown seems to be an exception but apparently better him than any real culprits. Local governments are the most qualified to know the immediate needs of the affected victims.[5] Federal government interventions always include more red tape regulations which inevitably mean more loss of freedoms. And the victims become double victims.[6] Our government controls the expenditure of taxpayer money and it often goes out of the country.[7]

Rather than helping the victims, our government actually appeared to be hindering the available and willing services offered by others.[8] Rather than escaping the terrible toxic waters of Katrina, many victims are trapped indefinitely in New Orleans.[9]

When the federal government does step in and accept responsibility for the safety of its citizens, then they should act with as much swiftness as they exhibited in discovering the 9/11 perpetrators. There should be no hesitation, no dilly dallying around listening to goat stories or catching that last fish or taking that final bike ride in Crawford. At least, Bush is dismally consistent. Catastrophes demand determination and action, not hesitancy![10] Of course, Hesitancy may serve a genuine monetary purpose.

Natural disasters are acts of God, right? Weather is something that is out of the control of human beings, right? We can predict it and that the extent of man's power, right? Advanced technology which includes splitting the atom, interpreting DNA, satellite imaging and cloning sheep are scientific realities. What about scalar weather warfare? Is there such a thing or is it another one of those conspiracy theories that often are more plausible and make more sense than what any of the highly compromised government commissions allege.[11]

Global warming has long been a political tactic for gaining more control over the citizens. It is especially useful as it lays all culpability on the citizen and their wasteful misuse of the environment and requires drastic lifestyle changes. I doubt that the elite will ever make any lifestyle sacrifices. However, weather manipulation cannot be laid at the feet of the masses. Call me crazy - it will not be the first time but I believe the government manipulation of weather is a fact.[12] I am not alone!

Katrina is the worst "natural disaster", thus far, in this country. The economic affects will be horrendous. The personal loss of property and lives will be astronomical. The body count and identification have yet to begin. The tolls are too great for a normal person to imagine in their worst nightmare. This was the United States version of that earlier tsunami that hit citizens in another part of the world, far from our shores.[13] Who knew we were just as vulnerable? That is a significant question. Up until 9/11 Americans felt secure. Are there people whose lust for money and power is more important than anything else, even the lives and properties of others?

Scalar weather engineering is a reality. It is the most effective and dangerous weapon of mass destruction on the face of the planet. It does more damage than a bomb - we should know! If a bomb does not kill - even the more lasting effects of depleted uranium bombs take time to appear. Weather is sudden and immediately devastating.

Catastrophes bring the worst and the best out in people. We all saw the video of looters with their television sets. We heard about the drug crazed gun totting gangs arbitrarily killing anyone in sight. And worse - there were rapes and beatings. People who commit such atrocities are "past feeling" - their uncompromising conscience is completely insensitive to the suffering of others.

People willingly opened their homes and their pockets to aid the victims of this terrible devastation. We have cried as we have witnessed people looking for lost family members. We have cried as we viewed the son whose mother perished in the nursing home along with all of the other elderly patients who could neither walk or drive out and their families were unable to get to them. Their caretakers perished with them.[14]

There are web sites which have recently gone online where one can donate money to help the victims. Some web sites are of course better than others. One must take precautions in using these web sites. One web site that is particularly interesting is the one established by the new public best buddies: Bill Clinton and George H. W. Bush who were old challengers for the white house. George apparently has more empathy for the victims than his wife, Barbara. It is related: "While touring the Houston Astrodome, where thousands of Hurricane Katrina refugees have been huddling, Barbara Bush said they didn't have it so bad because, heck, they were poor to begin with." She said: "And so many of the people in the arena here, you know, were underprivileged anyway, so this is working very well for them." She was quoted as saying in an interview on National Public Radio. "What I'm hearing, which is sort of scary, is they all want to stay in Texas,"[15] the elite simply do not think the same way that the normal people think. In fact, some of the elite may have a lot in common with those who are "past feeling".

RE: America : Most dysfun

Your country is the most violent developed country on the planet, Jimmy. People are wondering why. It is true that you are also among the most religious of countries. There could be a correlation.

More importantly, it puts to rest the lie that religion is equal to morality.

Have any of you really examined comparative history?

This is way too tedious to deal with true believers !!!

You could say you founded your own religion in a way.

LOL !!!

Answer - Have you stepped back and examined current events, say from the perspective of who is doing most of the killing in the the world?

Who is doing the most killing in the world ?

Well now there you go.

The answer might not quite jive with what you apparently believe.

And then that's certainly not the only test to prove anything, as you look at the cycles of history and in what actions beget other actions and how change in this world occurs that defies our best predictions.

Who is doing the most killing in the world ?

Religious fanatics. There is no difference between George Bush's Christian fanatacism and the fanatacism of Osama bin Laden. The difference is only in the rhetoric and the methods used Bush kills with guns and bombs, just like Osama, but he also kills by economic terrorism and by imposing his religious beliefs on those who do not share those beliefs.

well, jimbo. ...........you have not answered the question.

.........and we are talking the PRESENT era. (comparative history and some such is not the relevant factor here.......and is a diversional/evasive tactic........AGAIN.

simple question : who has killed more Bush with his damned /insane wars etc or OBL ....... (some serious factual math--as in simple addition factors in here) And that is only part of the homicides the US is /has committed.

amerikca LOVES "war". ( although it might pretend not to).....and this just might stem from all the conditioning during its formative years that is based on "action" , war toys, GI Joe dolls , and the movies they cut their teeth on.........So killing is just a fact of life for many. Society based on a violent /aggressive mentality......and this is part of it. Add the religious fervor that has gained momentum in amerika.....and one has an explosive time bomb. both "war" and "religion" define a "Mission"......and currently it is deadly.

.

Answer - I note that the U.S. gov. is not allowing a coordinated body count for the Iraqi civilians and we may never know the level of that slaughter. The U.S. war against the people of Viet Nam caused 4,000,000 deaths of Vietnamese civilians. That sad situation in Nicauraga with the U.S. backing a mercenary army to defeat a popular revolt against a cruel American sponsored dictator, resulted in the deaths of 200,000 civilians. I could go on and on with the huge body counts of all of your government's interference with other nations but I don't really think anything touches you. How very sad.

As to your second point, if you can't predict outcome, don't interfere in making regime change in other nations. I cannot think of one such action that didn't end in the placement of an American backed despot or in a sea of blood as people fought America toward self-determination.

Manipulating the Public Mind

By Charles Sullivan

09/29/05 "ICH" -- -- A sea of humanity descended upon the nation’s capital yesterday to voice its opposition to the invasion and occupation of Iraq. My wife and I, along with a sizable contingent from West Virginia, were among the teeming throngs that flowed through the streets of the District of Columbia like a raging river in the aftermath of a storm. The rally was about more than the shameful events orchestrated by our government in the Middle East, it was equally about U.S. imperialism on a global scale. It was also about the Bush regime’s appalling lack of concern for the Gulf Coast’s poor—particularly the inhabitants of New Orleans. It was about the complicity of Congress in the criminality of what passes for government in America these days. Demonstrations and acts of civil disobedience will continue throughout the weekend.

The turnout was immense. Trying to estimate its size from within was like standing in the midst of a forest and trying to gage its extent. You have to wade through the crowd and take contingency samples; or get above it to gain an appreciation of its size and scale. I spoke to a friend on a cell phone while marching by the White House who was watching coverage of the event on C-span. He informed me that C-span estimated the size of the crowd at between two hundred thousand to a quarter million. When I got home I looked at coverage of the event on NBC and CBS which estimated the turnout as about half that of C-span.

The major television networks will determine how most Americans view of the event will be shaped. This is what interested me--how coverage of the event would be presented to the world. The manipulation of images and information is frequently subtle but its effect on the public mind is often profound.

None of the networks even carried excerpts from the many excellent speeches being given by the likes of Cynthia McKinney, Cindy Sheehan, Jesse Jackson, Ralph Nader and other social justice luminaries. Those speeches—an important component of the rally—laid bare the callous disregard the nation’s power brokers have for life and habitat, especially the poor; and particularly the black poor. By choosing to omit them the corporate media once again failed to provide viewers with the information they need to make them free. They carefully steered the public mind away from any harsh criticism of the Bush regime and its corporate looters.

The major networks have consistently underestimated the size of anti war protests. This has been the case with every march on Washington that I have participated in. By deliberately under estimating its size the media gives the impression that opposition to U.S. militarism and America’s war on the poor and the working class is significantly smaller than they really are.

CBS chose to highlight the three arrests that occurred at the anti war rally on Saturday, rather than the non violent protesters. The decision is disingenuous in that it plants the seeds of thought in the public mind that peaceful demonstrators are purveyors of violence. This is in fact rarely the case. When violence erupts in otherwise peaceful demonstrations it is virtually always the police and FBI plants in the crowd that causes the violence. Remember cointellpro? It remains with us today.

Although I heard that there would be small pro Bush, pro war, counter demonstrations occurring simultaneously against the tide of the main event, I did not see any of them. However, CBS chose to play up these tiny, insignificant counter demonstrations by interviewing Bush supporters but not the Bush detractors. This is especially troubling because it gives the impression that the counter demonstration, which was virtually invisible to those of us in the streets, was much larger than it really was. By deliberately under reporting the anti war turnout and playing up the pro war side, reality was once again distorted into unrecognizable, fantastic, miasmic forms in the public mind.

The vast majority of American citizens have their world view shaped by the corporate news media. Can there by any doubt why the public mind is so distorted—so disconnected from reality?

More totalitarian nations control the masses through the use of brute force. We are seeing more and more of that in the cities of America, as witnessed in the streets of New Orleans recently. However, in comparatively free societies propaganda is the weapon of choice; and it is no less intimidating and effective than brute force.

No one is more effectively enslaved by the power brokers in government than those who wear the chains of servitude but think they are free. Unfortunately, the average American has no conception of how effectively their perceptions are shaped and manipulated by the media propaganda they unwittingly feed into their unsuspecting minds.

Indeed, so superb are the propagandists who control the flow of information in America that the average American enthusiastically supports polices that are detrimental to him. Thus we witness families that espouse political and fiscal conservatism supporting huge tax cuts for the wealthy, rampant corporate welfare, and the writing of blank checks for endless war waged against the world’s working poor—and they are themselves the cannon fodder for those wars. We are witnessing a bizarre psychic phenomenon that is the physical and spiritual equivalent of mass hypnosis. We seem almost incapable of waking ourselves up; or looking away from the shining pendant that swings before our glazed, vacuous eyes. Better not drink the kool aid.

The reral reason America is so dysfunctional is because who is at the top, georgie is a very weak leader and I really think he is out of step with reality. Not just the "conflicts" either but the way Katrina was handled.

He was clueless on 9/11 and sat in classroom like he needed his mommy to wipe his ass or somethng, some leader.

the bushlet is totally out of his depth and element. He does not have the proper leadership skills for this very responsible/demanding job. He is NOT a diplomat. ( bush and diplomat don't belong in the same sentence) .......and yet the job (description) demands for tact, verbal expertise and diplomacy. .......with superb/eloquent communication skills. ( with hi level management /organization skills)

ALL bushlet had was the MONEY. and money cannot buy the proper qualifications for ANY job let alone one of this Xtreme responsibility.

* would anyone here hire bush to mow his lawn??? Personally , I wouldn't want him anywhere near my home.......as he is a thief, a lier , a con man ..... and yet the silly amerikans voted him in for another term.( although that is debateable. Suspect he cheated his way in again. Par for the course for a personality disorder like he has. Bush's personality disorder has permeated into the fabric of the US.......and ergo a dysfunctional nation. (IMHO)

The Fractured States of Amerika

FRACTURED STATES OF AMERICA
PART 1 of 3

By Frosty Wooldridge
September 30, 2005

It's All About Money

America’s disintegration accelerates--driven by money, power and novel for this century--critical mass. This country suffers a free fall because most Americans sit clueless in their Lazy Boys while a silent invasion undermines this nation’s ability to function. Half our citizens don’t vote in national elections and 80 percent stay home for local elections. We allowed ‘purchased’ senators, congressmen and a certain president to gain unprecedented power corrupted by corporate interests that have no concern for this nation’s or your future. If ever a country was ripe for plundering, this nation mirrors the fall of the Roman Empire.

This three part series explains how and why America crumbles before our eyes. This piece illustrates how our president, politicians and corporate elite design the dismantling of the United States and break down of the Middle Class into the Lower Class—and the poor classes into desperation. In this column, you will see how immigration manifests the greatest destructive force facing this nation. It also shows you how to stop it.

Immigration built America. Immigration today, destroys America. Because of unchecked legal and illegal immigration, America is losing herself. Much like the leaning tower of Pisa in Italy, the Statue of Liberty suffers from too many immigrants pulling her off kilter and toward ultimate annihilation. If not stopped soon, immigration will be the single leading factor to the descent of the United States into a Third World quagmire. It will cause the breakup of our nation into separate ethnic enclaves. Specifically, Mexico guns to acquire the four Border States starting with Los Angeles. Middle Eastern Muslims grow into enclaved city-states completely separated from Americans. Detroit is a sign of things to come with their growing non-assimilating numbers. Their prime directive stems from the Koran that specifies they convert or kill all nonbelievers. Their objectives overwhelm Europe with their enormous numbers. Cubans in Miami show no allegiance to America. American blacks have become disenfranchised citizens as shown by Hurricane Katrina.

Everything Jefferson wrote and Lincoln preserved, and every combat soldier died for—will not be there for our children. The United States of America is becoming the Fractured States of America. This occurred in the space of 40 years and quickens faster by the day.

How? It boils down to money, power and critical mass. The concept ‘United States’ originated from a single language and a united citizenry with a common goal for the common good. The common good cannot withstand massive, unrestricted illegal immigration including endless legal immigration. In this column, you will recognize critical aspects of money that lead to power. From your appreciation of this knowledge you will connect ‘how’ our country faces demise via a critical mass of illegal alien migrants.

Do not allow the fact that the money-power issue has always been a factor to further numb you into inaction. Consistent action by passionate citizens has and will change the course of history.

At the end of this series, you will learn how you can create a reverse critical mass of legal American citizens of every race, creed and color to save your country and your children’s future. If you fail to act, the United States of America will not survive this critical mass of non-citizens and outright lawless invaders whose numbers exceed 20 million and grow by three million annually. If allowed to continue their numbers, they do not and cannot assimilate into the United States—thus forming a dysfunctional and debilitating underclass much like the five million people living in cardboard shacks on the outskirts of the living nightmare called Mexico City, Mexico; Bombay, India or Bangladesh. You may see evidence today in NYC, Miami, Phoenix, Chicago, San Francisco, Atlanta and Los Angeles. Illegal aliens grow in arrogance, contentiousness, anti-American behavior and outright self-serving lawlessness.

Bush and a majority of senators and congressmen aid, abet and encourage this illegal, unarmed invasion in violation of their oaths of office and the Constitution. Why? They comprise the ruling elite that think they will never be touched by the disease, crime, school chaos, languages and worse. Do you think Bill Gates or Senator First will be shot dead by an illegal alien like Denver police officer Donald Young last spring or Bush’s daughters will be raped by eight illegal aliens like the eight women who suffered such violent rapes in Boulder, Colorado? Not a chance. Will men like Bill Gates ever suffer the tens of thousands of home break-ins, business robberies and shoplifting, and car thefts suffered by Americans? Fat chance! They are insulated, isolated and aloof to our plight in Middle America.

In 2005, three million illegal and 1.1 immigrants mostly from Third World countries will continue invading our borders. The illegals sport no intention, desire or need to speak our language or adhere to our culture or laws. The legal immigrants are too many, offering too little from a line that never ends. Because of this onslaught, the American Dream stands NO chance of continuing for their children or ours.

Let’s look at one of the underlying driving aspects of this invasion: money. Capitalism loves profits. Money drives the most powerful economic system in the world. Remember this—it breeds and encourages extremism.

In the realm of money, Bill Gates stands at $50 billion, Warren Buffet is filthy rich and down the line. In politics, President Reagan, Bush and Clinton became the ultimate power brokers. In music, although harmless, the Beatles became extremely rich. All are extremists in their realms.

In America, the Gates, Buffet’s, Rockefellers, Rothschild’s, Kennedy’s, Hurst’s, Amour’s, Swift’s, Hormel’s, Tyson’s and others comprise the extremely rich. Others strive to surpass them.

Major corporations run by huge financial extremists gun for more profits than you or I can imagine. They aren’t concerned about America, Americans or rule of law. Men like Ken Lay, who gained millions as he bankrupted Enron, concerned himself with ungodly wealth. Realize that thousands of Enron executives exist at Tyson, Hormel, McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Home Depots and Wall Marts who hire illegal aliens against our immigration laws—and get away with it.

How? They buy off senators and congressmen by employing thousands of lobbyists who bribe them in hundreds of back room deals. How else do you think 20 million illegal alien migrants work in America off the books or on the books at slave wages for ultimate profits for those corporations? Bears and Sterns reported this spring that $400 billion in uncollected IRS taxes by US companies have created the second largest underground economy in the world. It matters little to those companies that illegals work Middle Class jobs at slave wages that take our jobs away. We pay the difference in the uncollected taxes while we pay for aliens using our medical, educational, transport and governmental service welfare illegally.

What is the reward for these modern day robber barons’ lawlessness? Unimaginable wealth for them and their rich stockholders at the expense of the American Middle Class taxpayer! The rich get richer and we pay their taxes. The rich live in gated communities and we live with the growing crime, disease, educational chaos and loss of our language and our cohesive American society.

One look at Los Angeles bears the truth for all to see. As an American who speaks English, you are not welcome in the City of Angels. Three million illegal alien migrants bear witness in California to the growing threat of critical mass of non-Americans. These desperately poor Third World people invade our country without end. Their invading America solves nothing for their countries and rains havoc on ours.

All the while, millions of Americans suffer displacement from construction jobs, roofing, retail, furniture moving, meat packing plants, electrical, painting, landscaping, fast food and the list grows by the day.

As George Sura in Colorado said, “Immigration is the most formidable weapon of mass destruction threatening America today. Ironically, invaders have put our country at risk without firing a shot. The White House, the heavies in Congress and the smaller fish in state legislatures do not seem to have the collective intellectual depth or common sense to see what is upon us and how rampant immigration will degrade the lives and opportunities of our progeny. Everyday brings America closer to irreversible chaos. Behind this issue are blind forces to reckon with. No politician, political party, corporation, religious fervor, investment, pop morality or individual aspiration should come before country. The brokers who recklessly advocate or condone pervasive immigration are steersman with Titanic-like wheelhouse credentials.”

It all stems from greed and extremists maximizing money before ethics.

"There is no nation on earth powerful enough to accomplish our overthrow. Our destruction, should it ever come at all, will be from another quarter. From the inattention of the people to the concerns of their government, from their carelessness and negligence."

It's All About Power

Power intoxicates. Hitler, Stalin, Alexander the Great, Caesar and Franklin D. Roosevelt loved power. It led those extremists toward notorious moments in history—at a loss of millions of lives.

Today in America, rich men buy elected office with the power of money. Who funds the money? Now you’re getting the picture—corporations. Why? They can affect legislation of our laws. Who heads them? Men with extreme power ambitions.

Corporations pay millions of dollars for lobbyists to make certain laws are watered down, degraded, not passed or not enforced. The power of money gives them power over law. What gives them the money?

What is happening today occurred in the late 1800’s and early1900’s and gave rise to labor unions and severe limits to immigration. Teddy Roosevelt in 1915 said, “The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, or preventing all possibility of its continuing as a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities.”

From 1924 through 1965, immigration averaged 178,000 annually. But Teddy Kennedy pushed through the 1965 Immigration Reform Act, which commenced the onslaught of 1.1 to 1.5 million immigrants annually and mostly from Third World countries. Because of that single congressional catastrophic boondoggle, our country, driven by immigration, grew from 194 million to 295 million people in 40 years. It gave corporations an endless line of cheap labor and something else.

Millions of new consumers working for less and less drove the US economy at breakneck speed. This in turn created the super rich.

Today, deliberate inattention at the presidential level, driven by money and power—our immigration laws suffer non-enforcement. No matter what the ultimate cost to our Constitution! Are Bush and Cheney men of the people? Absolutely not! They are products of the super rich class. Bush and Cheney are worth millions of dollars. Halliburton makes billions off the contrived, illegal and unwarranted Iraq War.

But like all extremists, Cheney, Bush and the super rich crave more money to gain more power. They lied about Iraq as to weapons of mass destruction, bio terror and the nuclear threat. Saddam was no more a threat to us than a dog in a neighbor’s fenced yard 10 blocks away. Notice Iraq is 10,000 miles away and had no more weapons than any other Third World country. Saddam was a tyrant much like Caesar and Alexander—but could not leave his limited sandbox. Even Rome could not conquer the whole world.

While Bush wages his personal cowboy war at horrific expense to our pocketbooks and death to our sons and daughters—he aids, abets and promotes illegal alien migrants into our country in an unprecedented invasion. The Vandals immigrated into and ultimately became the reason for the downfall of Rome in 476 AD. Remember Nero fiddling while Rome burned? Bush fiddle-faddles and stumbles over his scripted speeches while three million illegals cross our borders annually according to Time Magazine September 12, 2004. Their numbers exceed 20 million and their consequences multiply in the accelerating loss of our Republic.

At the current rate of this Third World invasion of illegals at three million illegally and one million legally annually—in another decade, we will suffer 20 million that are already here and another 40 million immigrant people that are centuries behind us. When you include our own growth rate from 194 million to 295 million from immigration—we head toward a staggering doubling to 600,000 million people in 60 years. *see my archives at www.newswithviews.com to fill in the blanks for all the areas of your life being affected by this nation-destroying nightmare.

The money from these added consumers gives greater power to the corporations at the highest levels. Corporate power owns our Congress, which, if you haven’t noticed, other than Tom Tancredo of Colorado, succumbs to corruption and money like a Snicker’s bar to a 10 year old kid.

You won’t see the Iraq War stop because that contrived conflict brings corporations billions of dollars. You won’t see the H-1B, H-2B and L-1 visas stop because corporations make more billions while Americans stand in unemployment lines. You won’t see Congress or Bush lift a finger because they are the power elite. More profoundly astonishing to this journalist stems from our voting them back into office decade after decade! Folks, it’s time to change horses in the middle of the stream in November, 2006, or we’re all headed to the bottom.

What they are doing is like red lining an engine until it blows up. What they are doing is pushing US population into the realm of India, China, Africa and Bangladesh. I can say from personal experience that those four countries manifest living nightmares for their citizens.

However, Bush is not red lining his car. Notice illegals aren’t crashing over his Crawford, Texas ranch or killing his cows and horses or cutting his fences or dropping 10 million tons of trash on his land. If they were, he’d have stopped the invasion five years ago! He’s doing it to our nation! It is our country, our Constitution and our laws. Bush and Congress fail us, but he and its members are all insulated, isolated and free from the scourge of Third World illegals breaking into our country and tearing apart our ability to function.

Power to politicians is an aphrodisiac to their egos. Power to extremists in corporations allows political and social domination at obscene levels. Notice how Ken Lay owned an $8 million house in Aspen, Colorado. Whatever Bush’s faults, he unabashedly loves power. He along with men of money created war in Iraq.

As an example of his extremism, who in their rational mind would drop depleted uranium bombs on a sandbox nation 10,000 miles away from America? That kind of radiation will create birth defects for thousands of Iraqi children whose parents suffer contact in the streets of Baghdad. Even more horrific, our own troops breathe the contaminated air and patrol in the radiated areas. Their consequences will be read about in later years much like the cancer deaths by the thousands for Vietnam troops from Agent Orange. Does Bush care? Hardly! His daughters are not affected.

You have a thumbnail sketch on the two major reasons our country faces fracturing by immigration. Big and small corporations make billions on illegal alien labor. It’s 21st century slavery as well as wages paid off the books. The capitalistic system of production and consumption knows no ethical boundaries. It chews up and spits out human beings without regard to morals, ethics or reason.

But there is an even greater problem than sheer numbers of illegal aliens. It’s called critical mass—and given enough time—it will tear this country to pieces. These immigrants won’t conquer us by the sword but by the penis. They are not assimilating nor are they speaking our language. They are not a part of America, but they are ‘in’ America.

What is critical mass? It occurs when one group attains more power than another and takes over. The white man did it to the Indians when he slaughtered eight of nine million in the 1800’s. In Part III, you will learn how grave our danger is as a nation. It’s not pretty and the hour is late, but it’s not up.

Political correctness kills this country by definition:

"Once a government is committed to the principle of silencing the voice of opposition, it has only one way to go, and that is down the path of increasingly repressive measures, until it becomes a source of terror to all its citizens and creates a country where everyone lives in fear." -- Harry S Truman
