That is what we will be using if TrudOWE and his ilk at the UN have their way. Except for the ruling class and trust fund kids of course.. I'm sure that is why their parents gave them trust funds instead of just handing over the cash. Most of them would be on welfare in a couple of years.

Silly boy. Of course it is. Did "leadership" fight during the World Wars? Does "leadership" pay its fair share of taxes? Donny Dodger talks about how great the U.S. military is, but he never served, and neither have any of his four eligible children. Is Mitt Romney "leadership?" None of his five eligible sons ever served, nor did he, but he also sings the praises of the military.
So in your eyes if a person does not serve they are not fit for office . Would that not leave out many qualified people with different life experiences ? In a country of 350,000,000 plus people is it feasible that everyone serve ?

And then is required to take time off work for occasional bouts of refresher training as they get older!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In Switzerland - no completion of military service MEANS NO ACCESS to a voting booth either!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And of course during the Cold War - countries like Britain. France and Germany had FULL compulsory military service.....................
for all school graduates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You could put off your military service till after college or university since the army LIKES educated soldiers........................
but YOU HAD TO COMPLETE BASIC TRAINING at some point!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
