Here is a post by an aggrieved Cdn to again illustrate why we should not be letting Muslims immigrate to Canada. The guy wrote:

To the woman in the burka who said that my dog and me are unwelcome (Regent Park)

My dog was never, at any point, inside the playground area. The sign clearly said, "No dogs allowed in the playground."

No, the rest of the park is not considered the playground. I understand that there are children around, but my dog was leashed, and she doesn't show the slightest aggression to children. As a matter of fact, she is extremely gentle with all people.

But just because you think dogs are unclean and haram doesn't mean you have to tell me that I was unwelcome and that I should only ever be in the fenced in off-leash dog area if I am with my dog. That's not how it works in Canada.

This is a public park. I have every right to be here walking my dog as you do. Just because you feel offended by something doesn't mean others have to bend over backwards to act in a way to make you comfortable, especially if they weren't doing anything wrong. If you don't learn to accept that dogs are treated with dignity and respect in this country, then you are going to have a hard time anywhere you go in this city.

If you don't like it, then no one is asking you to stay.

I say- isnt that nice. Having Muslims around makes simply taking the dog for a walk into a political statement!

If Muslims were only worried about dogs it might not be so bad. Some years back, a former Toronto Sun writer was with his family one weekend in the square by Eaton Centre and he had his camera out, snapping a few family photos- and he not paying much attention to what`s in the background- it’s a Muslim family with the Mom and the other ladies fully shrouded in the usual sacks.

And the guy is startled as a figure looms up in his view finder and the burqa clad woman slaps at him as he ducks out of the way. And she KEEPS slapping at him while her family comes up in support and DEMANDS the camera be handed over- and the guy is telling angry Muslim guys to get lost while his own kids panic and his wife gets a cop.

Cop arrives and the questions and answers start with a mob of Muslims claiming the writer started it! Writer tells cop that Muslim Mom has attacked him out of the blue- she is crazy and the rest of them are encouraging her!

Muslim Mom explains that she was NOT attacking the writer- she was only hitting at his camera and trying to SMASH IT because she suspected that he might have snapped her photo while getting shots of his family and she thinks its undignified to be photographed by a strange man!

So cop has a white family on one side and a pack of howling Muslims on the other who want the brand new digital camera confiscated and its memory entirely erased! With writer pointing out that Muslim Mom HIT HIM and tried to smash his property and isn’t that assault!

And of course this is Toronto and the writer has no injuries and the camera is still intact- and the Muslims have been told they must not randomly attack white people who are taking photos so all is well- isn’t it?

And writer points out- and what if she HAD managed to break my camera? Who PAYS? And how do I even identify the woman-or whatever it is under the sack? How do I press charges against a SACK?

And I think the guy has a point. Modest dress is one thing but anonymous dress that makes it virtually impossible to identify some goof who is ramming HER VALUES down the throats of others is over the top and over the line!

Maybe one easy way of weeding out Muslim radicals and preventing them from coming to Canada would be to ban the burqa- no self respecting radical would want his `property` wandering around town exposed to the world like an ordinary Cdn SLUT- so the radicals might just stay away for the sake of their women`s modesty?

Why do you know anything about Gypsies?? Would you smell horse-farts if you didn't have to. Puts a new meaning to 'hay in the trunk' also.

To think they will in an arctic country is just short-sighted. Doesn't seem to matter what kind of batteries are used, cold weather kills batteries. Living on the Island you don't see real winter. Christ, try starting your ICE powered car in -30/-40 weather when you don't have a block heater. Cold also reduces battery efficiency, not to mention that those fast charging stations are crap. Still takes 30-40 minutes for a partial charge which not only reduces the overall lifetime efficiency of the battery, it also shortens their life span. God only knows what hell a/c would play on an EV's mileage.

So, unless the govt can find a way to prevent temps from dropping much below 0, Canada will never be ready for the EV revolution. Especially since the Liberals are running around like idiots "trying" to stop global warming.

I'm sure glad someone is trying to talk some sense into that Nincompoop. I've tried to no avail...……...I'm not sure whether his hearing is bad, or his listening is bad. Or maybe it's just a case of incorrigible arrogance! :)

If I need to heat my garage to charge a battery or use the battery heater to charge it, it's pointless.

It's illegal to run an extension cord across a sidewalk for a blockheater let alone running a 50A 240V line.

WTF are moonbats smoking? Indoor weed grown in Edmonton or Saskatoon in January?

you might want to read up on Norway and their love affair with the e vehicle.

I believe the entire country is north of Alberta and Saskatchewan...they don't seem to have any problems at all...but then again they are probably a lot smarter...

I want a realiable, inexpensive (Honda?) plug-in hybrid with about a 1000cc engine to charge flat batteries but that I will mostly charge from the house, when I retire. The market is not quite there, yet and I'm not quite ready to retire yet, either.

If Canadians would all buy N.A. built vehicles in the long run we'll all be a hell of a lot better off. Our industry would be booming.
You maen, like a Honda from Alliston, Ontario or a Toyota from Ingersoll? From now on, all the GMs will be assembled in a foreign country ... not a very friendly one anymore, either.
