Under bankruptcy protection Eatons is entitled not to pay SUPPLIERS who have sent the store chain merchandise that has not yet been paid for- regardless of whether the stuff has been sold or not!!!!!!!!!!!
In addition- the suppliers were NOT ENTITLED to reclaim unsold merchandise that Eaton`s had not yet sold or paid for!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eatons could go into bankruptcy protection and simply KEEP any and all merchandise in stock- with NO requiremnt to pay for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Eatons DID have the option of NEGOTIATING with its former suppliers regarding things like the price of any new stock it ordered and of course there would also be an option to discuss money owed for previous shipments- with Eatons holding most of the cards!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Suppliers who refuse to ship more till they get paid for previous stuff would get NOTHING!!!!!!!!!
Suppliers who gamble and ship more to Eatons in hope of recovering more of their money are TRULY GAMBLING!!!!!!!!!
