and again, the restaurants that are complaining all have fewer than 500 employees, therefore they have 7 yrs to implement the 15/hr legislation. Any of them "going broke" were "going broke" before Seattle passed their ordinance.
Time to close down the seating areas and go to delivery and maybe that will get you more choices that what kind of burger to get. A smorg would be a drive through window.
Actually McDonalds has started closing some operations (costing jobs) and many large restaurants chains that had 24/7 operations, again curtailing hours and jobs. (more job losses)
