Dear Seabiscuit, the question wasn't on you freezing your nuts off for a poor choice of sleeping arrangements. Energy in greater than energy out. Try to stay on track or it's off the the glue factory for you.

It's cyclical son. That is fact.

AGW theory and it's foundational logic exists in it's own vacuum.

It is incapable of explaining the multiple ice ages within the framework that it seeks to place on the shoulders of humanity.

As I have mentioned in the past, AGW theorists extrapolate on assumptions (that are essentially baseless) so far that there is absolutely no substance to the argument

Could you tell Captain Morgan, apparently we don't know enough to say such a thing. Oh, and could you explain how the ice age cycle causes more energy to come in to the planet than to leave it? If you have some maths that would help.

Thanks. K. Bye. :D

Just because you mention doesn't make it so...perhaps you can give an example of your assertion?

No problem. He isn't too arrogant to understand seawater releases CO2 and CH4 as they warm during interglacial events like at present.

The oceans are absorbing more. Now you're going to have to falsify the dropping pH. Good luck, again.

Hah, fastest editing fingers in the west you have there Pete.

CO2 and CH4 were less concentrated at the end of the previous interglacial yet 4C warmer than today.

You're wasting your time bud.

The gent that you're dealing with is of the mindset that is a true believer... What's worse, one that garners a bit of knowledge and believes that he understands all.

... I'm guessing that once he successfully changes the wiper blades on a car, he automatically becomes qualified to rebuild engines. Burning time on one with that kind of ideal is a galactic waste of time

So then this link won't help?

If humans are making the earth warmer, the Egyptians were better at it because it was considerably warmer 4000 years ago. Just what exactly did those bronze age bastards have on us?

Yes, we covered this quote and what it means in another thread. Notice how I said without falsifying them? For that you need evidence. I'm not saying you can't do it. I'm saying you-the second person plural including yourself and folks like Petros- haven't done it. Big difference beav ;)

The first thought of science is how, you already believe you know how, ha. haha

"Science is the belief in the ignorance of the experts" – Richard Feynman

All he meant was is that science will not take place if that belief does not exist and isn't acted upon constantly. That's progress in action. Why are you anti progress? Why do want science to stop? Are you too tired to advance? You young people are so lazy? If you can't see the evidence of that you will always follow the "experts" like a puppy instead of like a lion waiting for the old bull to falter.

According to a 2008 report by two researchers at UC Berkeley, real estate and insurance industry impacts are actually the biggest economic threats associated with climate change in California. The same is true in many states. Low-lying coastal areas, such as along the Gulf Coast, are particularly vulnerable to sea-level rise and stronger storms—and those risks are reflected in rising insurance rates and premiums. In Florida, for example, the average price of a homeowners’ policy increased by 77 percent between 2001 and 2006.

Climate change factors such as extreme weather, sea level rise, coastal erosion, floods and wildfires are projected to cause some $300 million to $3.9 billion in California real estate losses annually. It’s a huge range, due to uncertainty in climate models, impacts and adaptation, and that uncertainty makes insurers even more nervous, because they’re not quite sure what to prepare for. What we do know for sure is that California alone has $2.5 trillion in real estate assets at risk for climate change damage. That’s approximately 135 percent of the state’s annual gross domestic product!

Hahahaha...look, they even put an exclamation mark after the last sentence. Can you imagine someone talking like that?

Annnnway...once you remove (which of course you must) the word "change", the paragraph reads as quite sensical (fuk u word checker). It's as Captain Obvious as saying those in flood plains stand a good chance of being flooded-out. Have a nice day.

Yeah, so what. Live there on the cliffs if you choose to but don't come crying to us. ;-)

Yes, of course. Why would you find that odd? Are your friends all monotonic talkers who sound like robots? 135% of the states annual GDP is a pretty large amount, certainly worthy of a little inflection in your voice.
