There are many Christian sects where the OT is just as important as the NT. We have the over the top type here on CC spouting OT crap all the time.
Which is a sad thing. They can and do get as nutty as Sunnis and Ortho Jews. They are missing out on the whole point of Jesus coming to remove the tainted OT's "laws" that went too far.
Maybe there is hope for Islam then. IF the people were able to tone down the bible then maybe the muslims can learn to tone down or dismiss Mohammad's barbaric teachings into something that works in todays world with a culturally diverse population.
In this day and age we shouldn't be needing to fight over the best hunting grounds, or the best pastures etc.

The vast majority of Muslims do not interpret the quran the way the likes of ISIS does. There are over 1 billion Muslims in the world today, what do you think it would be like if they all actually thought like ISIS or ALQUEDA?
