I've been trying to find out what issues there are with importing books from the US (wholesale) but can't find a straight answer. Are books duty free as per NAFTA if brought in for resale? Taxes? Anyone know what the duty/tax issues are or where I can find the info on the internet?

Thanks for the links. Does that mean they are tariff-free? Lots of acronyms and stuff I'm not familiar with.

Also, would there be GST and or PST tax?

Yeah there's no getting away from those. If you register for GST (you're not required to register or charge GST if your annual sales are less than 30k or something like that) then you get your GST back. PST is similar. If you deal with a broker who has your PST exemption doucumentation then you can have them not charge that, otherwise you have to do the paperwork to claim it back.
