Anti-Bacterial scam

The anti-bacterial products that consumers are snatching up off the shelves is a bogus deal, my friends.

One of the two ingredients, often not listed, that makes it confrom to industry standards as an anti-bacterial: "Triclosan", the other being plain old alcohol. Is this really what you want to be using? - NOT!!!

Alcohol has been found to actually be "inebriating" children, since adult strength products are going to impact 50pounder humans much more than adults....so thats not good.

As for Triclosan, it is bad for the environment. And humans!! who-da-thunk, eh?

And, it does NOT work as well as "plain old soap and water":

"At home, however, the average person doesn't wash his hands long enough for triclosan to have the desired effect."

Anti-bacterial soaps are unnecessary. I've used soap and water all my life and I'm just fine ;-) (knock on wood)

I absolutely agree.

The anti-bacterial craze is not only a waste of time and money, but dangerous to human health..........promoting bacteria resistant to anti-bacterial agents.

AND.....the products do NOTHING more than soap and warm water......a nasty con.
