Outrageous.

"Residue" of pesticides on fruits and veggies is now allowed to be higher - higher than it was when it was causing cancer!!
Now what diseases will we get?

They say it is to harmonise with USA products, but really what was happening is that so many fruits and veggies were not passing the random testing vor pesticide residues, so they jkust changed the regulations.

To hell with Canadian's health, for get that children are developing cancers at a hirrofic rate and that their bodies are much more succeptable to toxic chemicals than adults are - guidelines were originally developed for adults, disregarding the kids succeptability, and so these new, higher, limits will hit the kids hard.

If you are still being an ostrich and believe that our government would not do something that will knowingly harm Canadians or Canadian children, just look at how they "allowed" Air India flight to explode. It is stunning to open our eyes and see that there is so little regard for human life by our government authorities.

It is quickly becoming a fact of life that only the wealthy will be able to eat right. There will be non-nutritious poisenous foods for the poor, while only Organic foods are safe to eat, but way too expensive for everyone to partake.

It is time to reel it back in - humans rights to food, water, and clean air are in direct conflict with corporate interests and they are winning, hands down. The rest of us will be face down.
