Cellphones

We will start to communicate again when we get rid of those damned cellphones.

They cost to much, minutes evaporate without explanation - they charge you minutes to set the thing up - what a rip off!!

The quality is the main thing. Maybe for you in the city it works, unless you want to talk to your country cousins.
The most common word heard over cellphones is "WHAT??". No word ever cost so much money. Crackle crackle, getting cut-off, and "No Service" all ad up to "what a rip off".

And, of course, I will have to mention that they give you brain cancer. There are some simple fixes* to avoid the deadly radiation, but that admission would turn customers off and open them up to lawsuits, so we go on without the simple fixes. Except in Sweden, where they did publish the studies that show harmfull radiation levels, and they use the simple fixes.
{* some of the simple fixes include a shield, or an earpiece to keep the reciever away from your head.]

No, I have never owned one, or used one. But I have been overheard saying "WHAT??" to people who do use them...

Well...I have been in a situation at work where I carried both a Pager and a Cell phone. I was never so glad to get rid of anything!

It is just like being on a leash in my opinion. What right does anyone have (except those I chose) to have me at their beck and call 24/7?

We have one but it is OFF unless we have made specific arrangements with someone.
