I noticed on my site that someone is using a Sony Playstation Portable to visit. Is this odd or am I just old?

You can tell Linux to report any OS you want including made up ones. There is a Linux for the PSP though which does have a browser.

OK, thanks.

Getting scary isn't it.
Linux/Canonical/Ubuntu now into a lot of things.
Free is good.
Mac/Apple and others see this as well as millions of others.

Poor MicroSoft....or soon enough.

Mircrosoft has nothing to worry about, they have crushed competition before and will do it again.;-)

Kreskin: Sony PlayStation DOES infact have it's own operating system and browser. I use my PS3 to browse youtube sometimes.

How much has MS milked you for?

what does MicroWorks go for these days?

I have :

a data base
a spreadsheet
a word processor
and presentation

all built in...and over 30 different languages and dictionaries to support them.

I have a floppy drive and a CD/DVD and all I have to pay for is the disks. And they are dirt cheap.

I've never been cracked(check it) while MicroSoft in 2007 had the dubious distinction of being`cracked` 13,000 times`.

....and you just keep on giving.

To each his own.

Just my Personal Opinion, of course.

Cheers.

My system is monitored 24/7/365 and upgrades to security and applications are offered daily at no cost to me.

I have forums to go to for answers `if` a problem occurs at no cost to me.

Transparency was in place from the outset.

I have a plethora of screen savers built in at no cost to me.

Security was already in the system.

The cost was less than $ 900.00 CDN and never another penny to spend.

I am now on my third upgrade == Hardy Heron == no cost to me.

Rebut this with what MicroSoft is and has done to you.

Sincerely,

.... Yo, D.D.,

It's because it is a business oriented system.

Just a thought and an opinion.

I agree, it's great for running apache + php + mysql amongst other server based softwares.

I like the flexibility & customization that Linux offers, but for me it's limited in it's desktop use.

I have VMware setup on my windows PC and I run a customized Ubuntu install which I use for running Folding@Home, it's pretty cool

Haven't gone there.

Will give it a shot.

Thanx.
