Spamburgers anyone?

I seem to get about 1800 spam messages a month... 60 a day? It all gets filtered into my spam folder, so I don't really notice, but there is something satisfying about deleting 1800 messages all at once. It probably helps that my email address is printed in full on my website. How much spam do you all get?

On my hotmail account I get around 20-30 per day. I prefer my gmail account as it has the best spam filter in my opinion.

Yeah, I have a .procmailrc that forwards my physics account to my gmail account, it is honestly amazing how it catches spam.

Nah, the mail server runs procmail on top of SunOS I believe. So your personal options are stored in a file in your home directory, you can set up some vacation options and other things. I just use it to forward everything to gmail.

You used to be able to set up a really lame DoS apparently by copying the message to your inbox and then forwarding a copy back to yourself as well as to another address.

At the very least. You can easily fill the hard drive as well, I can't remember if you could reforward it to another individual or not. Been a while since I typed in "man procmail" or something like that.
