A History of Computers: On The Edge

Recently, I just finished reading a very interesting and entertaining book about the history of micro-computers called On The Edge: The Spectactular Rise and Fall of Commodore

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys computing and has an interest in where modern day technology was born.

Thanks Judland, I'll be very interested in that. My first computer was a Commodore pet 4032. I remember paying over $500 to upgrade it to 64K

I still have two commodore 64's in the basement. Those were great machines for their day.

Edit: Whoops, it was a 4016 and I payed to upgrade it to 32k :roll:

I guess I'll have to part with them sooner or later, I'll let you know.

I've been meaning to hook it all up and go through the floppies. Just one of those "someday" things.
