The Case Of The Disappearing Bookmarks

Twice in the last week, my bookmarks disappeared from my tool bar. I'm running a Mozilla Firefox browser with windows 98. I have an Elitegroup L7VMM2 motherboard with an AMD Athlon 2200 processor.

The bookmarks are still in there but they disappeared off the toolbar.

Anyone else have this kind of thing happen with Firefox? I can put them back up but it is a pain in the ass.

Thanks ITN

I had already put the bookmarks back up when I read your post but I saved your link for next time.-------- I didn't save it in bookmarks...

BTW, Santa brought me a little 500 meg "flash drive" for Xmas. What a neat gadget. It is ideal for backing up files, drivers, etc.. Just plug it into a USB port and it's ready to go.

Flash drives are great. Certainly better (and more versatile) than zip disks.

I got my flash drive a few years ago, only 128MB, barely enough to cover my porn

Hey, if you covered your porn, would it still be porn?

You can get these "flash drives" up to four gigs, maybe larger. Should be more than enough for any text file. Admittedly, movies would require more space.

I think not

Since you mentioned movies, I have recently become aware of Bit Torrent, apparently you can find movies online and download them via this compression utility, anybody know where I can find any :p

Giganews is one of them...You have to pay for it, but for some it is worth it. Also your ISP my already carry the newsgroups for you. Rogers stopped doing it...

I'm using Rogers Hi Speed Lite on Yahoo and lost all my bookmarks this morning. Just went into my system and forwarded them from netscape to yahoo and everything is AOK now.
