Internet TV Stations

Does anybody watch TV online from time to time? There's tons of outdated sites on the Internet with lists and links to Internet TV programs which have moved or been cancelled.

I personally watch Deutsche Welle euromaxx and DW-Journal which are available at http://www.dw-world.de/dw/ (Both English and German programs are available to watch). It's my news fix for Europe.

Re: Internet TV Stations

For entertainment and a down home feel I used to listen to the Keith Finnegan show on radio Galway Bay FM (Ireland). I love anything but North American shows.

Andem, please pass on any English versions...

RE: Internet TV Stations

Good news! You can also catch BBC World with that Internet TV program that Paranoid posted.

Hi! Andem

Actually; since I'm poor, I only have basic cable.
As you mentioned, BBC World was the only reason I liked this software. It sure beats CNN.

If you wanted to register the product, just private message me.

OnlineTV 2 - The original

I just tried this program.
You need Real Player One installed.
The basic program is free

OnlineTV 2 - The original

Note

I did not have Real Player One installed, so after installing OnLineTV2, and attempting to try it out, an interface came up and asked if I wanted to download Real Player. The message was in German, but I linked to Real Player from the OnLineTV2 interface.
....Big Mistake ....
Real Player was downloaded in German.
So, best you install RealPlayer before installing OnLineTV2

Re: Internet TV Stations

Well .... I just tried this one out.
It's got tons of stations. More than any other I'm seen.
I also notice that BBC NewsNight show is available. Great stuff.

World Online TV allows you to watch 800+ live television channels and listen to 1000+ online radio stations from 100+ countries. There is no need for a TV Tuner card because all the channels are streamed through your Internet connection. For most TV and Radio channels a modem speed of 56Kb/s is required, for the broadband TV stations you need 300 Kb/s. This software comes with automatic TV station updates so it will never be out of date. If you are interested in learning languages or alternative programming, this is a good choice for you!
