I have a DI704-P "Version A" wired router, with built-in print server.
Printer is a XEROX WorkCentre XD130df. This is a dual function printer/photocopier device.

Most likely a hardware compatibility issue, but would like to resolve.

Up until now I have been using an old HP Pavillion as a print server, on my network, and want to eliminate it from the network (and power grid), if at all possible.

So, I followed all instructions:

Installed the DLink Print Server software for WinXP (right from DLink website), including reboot of my computer

Uninstalled my existing printer setup (as per instructions)

Hooked up the printer cable to the DLink router

Checked to see if the Printer was shown, in the router browser
setup, as being active - and it is

Added printer, through XP "Printers and Faxes"

Rebooted computer, printer, router (just to make sure)

Printer looks to be setup OK on computer - but will not print.

Reinstalled printer driver with latest fron XEROX website

Reboots, etc., and still printer will not print from my XP computer.\

Printer was working fine through the computer, running WinMe, I had set-up as a print server.

Redirected it back to the old computer print server set-up and all works fine, but, for some reason does not like the DLink print server connection.

So, any suggestions, ideas, comments, etc.?
