My Desktop computer is completely destroyed. So I am using a Wireless connection over a cable modem connected to a top-of-the-line Linksys N-Router, with a D-Link N-Card Adapter.
I am on Cable co. : Westman Communications Group and my advertised speeds are:
$40 / month for
6 mbps download
1 mbps upload
Now remember, this is WIRELESS, so it won't meet up completely to that standard.

yep. forgot that for a minute. This is still the fastest internet i ever had without a nazi firewall around me. When i was at uni I used their network and sometimes got downloads of 800kbps but couldnt use P2P stuff

You still have a pretty decent connection, close to 2 meg. Corporate firewalls suck don't they?

i'm assuming there's some kind of upload limit on my connection. hope i dont reach it. i'd hate to be without a connection. it's a little unfair to give a limit but not let us see how much we've used
