Using Rogers Highspeed Extreme. I get the following results from
http://performance.toast.net/

Loaded 754,928 bytes in 1.219 seconds from TOAST.net I server. 4770 Kb downstream and 598,149 bytes in 6 seconds. upload speed is 798 kbps

Located in toronto, tried the speed test from vif.net

and my results are...4587.879 Kbps (573.485 KB/sec) [/img]

All the various tests available seem to give different results. If all of you posting above are going to compare with each other, you should use the same test. Isn't there a standard somewhere?

Just did three consecutive speed tests of my new SaskTel DSL connection.

This was the average result, ranging in the 3800 kbps down and 519 kbps up, as reported by DSL Reports...



Not too shabby!

3625 / 447 testing with megapath

4273 / 473 testing with Link Line

took all within minutes of each other from link Judland provided.

Speakeasy about 1500/650 on Telus, it's a little too slow for my liking, especially the upload.

WHAT ISP ARE YOU USING!!!!!!! That is pretty good for a residental ISP. What country are you living in would be a better question.

ISP? Well, it´s the fastest there is in Sweden (residental) for now. Really sweet downloading loads of stuff simultaneously @ 70 mbit/s (my harddrive can´t handle 100).

My Telus download is around 2500 and upload is around 650.
It depends where I do the speed tests. The closer the faster.
