My interweb connection has been giving me grief today. Slow to load and videos play sporadically.
What kind of speed are people getting?



That is what I'm getting today. I usually get about 12 or more on downloads.

Thing is, higher the download, the more upload you need as the TCP-IP needs to verify via outbound, the packets incoming. You hit a wall at a certain point.

Meh, it's just a bunch of numbers to me. As long as I don't get a big slowdown if a lot of people here are online (3 cell phones, 2 computers and one x-box) then it's fast enough for my needs.

Before I moved back into Charlottetown, my only viable option was Bell, and the fastest they could manage on that rural line was about 2 Mb/s download, upload was about 0.4.

Glad to have Eastlink back.
