Top Scientists: CO2-Induced Warming Is “Weak” To Non-Existent For Greenland, Antarctica!

We routinely read about “highest ever” Arctic ice sheet and sea ice melt rates in the Arctic. And about rapid, “faster-than-expected” melting of ice shelves in West Antarctica. And then, of course, we’re told that sea levels are rising at an accelerating rate — a catastrophically accelerating rate — due to the amplified warming at the poles, or “polar amplification”.

The predominant cause of these alarming climate changes is almost invariably attributed to anthropogenic CO2 emissions, of course. These headlines are now commonplace, designed to grab our attention and stir us to action. But does the scientific evidence confirm that the polar climate is predominantly determined by the rise in anthropogenic CO2 emissions?

A warming and cooling Arctic

As documented in the below Climate4you graph (HadCRUT4), the Arctic climate has followed a roughly 60-year oscillation in the last century. Arctic (70-90 N) temperatures warmed during the 1920s to 1940s, cooled during the 1950s to1990s, and then returned to a warming trend from the mid-1990s onward.

Billions of taxpayer dollars are at stake... you bet they will persecute those trying to stop the gravy train.

The liberals chocked to death a guy in New York City for selling single cigarettes, they will certainly try and stop anyone in the way of this flow of cash.

They're like the NEA and the ATF with their tactics. (N.B. the proper use of their and they're.)

The sunspot theory is also wrong as to what causes the natural warming and cooling cycle. If the summer ice minimum was displayed in an animation that showed how it went from max ice to the least ice. Overlay that animation with one that shows the oceanic crust as those are all expanding rifts. Should they expand faster or slower that will cause the water to warm up or cool off faster than normal. The Arctic Ocean is a good place as currents ar minimal while the Antarctic has many fast moving currents and snowfall amounts are not recorded very well.

The data in the OP already suggest when the transition between slower and faster was and how many years that lasted.

When are the real scientists going to start punching out the anthrohating CO2 slimebags. Bullshjiting is a science. It really must be. They surely have degrees in deception. When you incite a riot you are rightly brought before a court of law to answer for your recless disregard for life.

Atmospheric carbon dioxide just reached a huge record high

The amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere reached a new record in May. It also increased more in a single year than it has since we began to monitor it in the late 1950s — something that we can mostly attribute to the burning of fossil fuels, plus a little nudge from El Niño.
The average carbon dioxide concentration in May was 407.7 parts per million, or ppm, which is how molecules in the atmosphere are measured. In May, for every 1 million molecules in the air, 407.7 of them were carbon dioxide. This was a 3.76 ppm increase since May 2015, and the largest year over year increase on record.
On April 9, a daily record of 409.44 ppm was set, although scientists tend to not follow the daily averages too closely, since they often fluctuate too wildly to be representative of the atmosphere as a whole.

I'm just saying... You know that if CO2 hasn't been linked to extinctions but human activity has. Then why tax the **** out of emmisions that has no overall effect? Why not just tax the **** out of people and corporations that don't practice sustainable development....?

Sustainable developement in essence means that you intend to sustain an three dimensional space where your resources will be and nust be developed, space travel would be a boon, developement of the materialists kind is unsustainable on a fixed planetetary mass, I should think. If you believe the development can be expanded beyond planetery bounds you should not have been issued a drivers licence.

Are you OK Walter? I hope that thumbs up didn't hurt you too much. There's no blood is thier?
