A neighbor and I were chatting at New Years. He mentioned he was Catholic, but doesn't believe in Heaven, Hell, God, or going to church. When I asked why he'd call himself Catholic then, he just stared at me confused. It seems to be more of a way of explaining where you've come from now, than of explaining where you're at in life.

Not that I agree with the article, as being Catholic I have never heard anyone discuss evangelizing, but I can see the reasons why some would want to get out literature correcting some of the misconceptions. I think any religion would like to get out there and correct some of the preconceived notions people have about it, and explain the root of why they do and believe what they do.
