Note to David Barton: The Obama Admin’s Justice Dept Has Prosecuted 12,859 Defendants for Child Porn Related Crimes Since 2009






Yesterday, David Barton told his Wallbuilders’ Live audience that the Obama administration has not prosecuted a single case of child pornography. He said, “there has not been a single prosecution of child pornography under this administration. There were many under previous administrations; this administration just shut it down.”


It should also be pointed out that Barton has made this claim before. A quick review of the press releases for the Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section of the DOJ’s website reveals numerous actions by the Obama administration to prosecute crimes involving children (see 2009, 2010,2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014).


In contrast, Opposing Views links to six different FBI cases in just the last week (e.g., this MS case).


Barton often stretches the truth when it comes to history and public policy, but this claim is a complete falsehood. In addition to misleading his listeners, Barton owes an apology to the hard working men and women who work for the FBI, the DOJ and other federal agencies who daily try to make the world a little safer for kids.

Why would this guy and his cohorts keep lying they have lied about just about
everything else. I can't think of a truth but there might be one thus the term
just about.
The sheep in the pews and halls need to be fleeced both in terms of money and
indoctrination. To be fair not all biblical teaching is indoctrination but the group
of evangelicals immerse Gods children in all kinds of nonsense.
It is not learning about salvation it is about propaganda to keep people from even
looking for the truth. They may become victims of their own plot though. The
Born Again agenda is being hijacked by the silly *** Trump who is worse.
Problem for these over conservative folks is they are being beaten at their own game.
Trump is a problem for us all though wasn't it Hitler who was going make Germany
great again and Mussolini who was going to rebuild the Roman Empire?
Mr Trump is a loos cannon even unto himself and the born again's are as dangerous
as all religious over the top groups lies and manifestations of their self directed truths

I had to Google him, but then I remembered where I've seen his name before. He wrote a booked called the "Jefferson Lies" that someone tried to get me to read. I read the reviews, and decided that book itself was full of lies instead. Most Evangelicals even think he's nuts.

In 2012 Barton's New York Times bestseller The Jefferson Lies: Exposing the Myths You've Always Believed About Thomas Jefferson (published April 10, 2012) was voted "the least credible history book in print" by the users of the History News Network website. A group of 10 conservative Christian professors reviewed the work and formed a negative view of its claims, reporting that Barton has misstated facts about Jefferson.
