Does Jesus have a soul?

Does Jesus have a soul?

The hierarchy in heaven isGod above and all souls below his position followed by angels if you happen tobelieve in those. That being the case, the human part of Jesus would also bebelow God and not at the right hand of God. No human soul can sit beside or beequal to God.

The God part of Jesus wouldbe equal to the Father and Holy Spirit thus indistinguishable from either if hemanifested himself. He could then sit at Godís right hand but his soul, beingless than God-like could not.

If Jesus is at the highestlevel with God and it is impossible for a soul to be at that level, thisindicates that Jesus somehow had two consciousnesses, one divine and one humanin the same body on earth and that they would separate upon reaching heaven. That or Jesus had no soul.

If Jesus was not divine and apart of that strange Trinity concept, then he could not sit at the right handof God as only God can sit at the highest level.

I see an impossible catch 22here and wondered if any Christian could shed some light to get out of thiscatch 22.

Who cares? What has this got to do with how you (or anybody else) live your life? Your obsession with this stuff makes me think you are addicted to mental masturbation. This subject is trivial nonsense. So, either you are trolling or you really need to get out of your basement and experience life.

That would go againstscriptures.

Ezekiel 18:20 The soul that sinneth, itshall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall thefather bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shallbe upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

Our wickedness is our own to bear says the bible, not Jesus'.

Are you saying that Jesus' soul died when you say went extinct?

Was that Jesus the man or Jesus the God that went extinct.

I care as it allows me to try to bring out the logic and reason that many believers have forgotten to use for a while.

You might not have noticed that their thinking continues to harm many.

Honestly

Another FrenchPat anti-Christian thread. I am of the opinion we should start combining them like we used to do with the 9/11 threads. Its the same old dribble over and over with this guy other than the thread where he wanted women to get to squeezing mens balls and facebook each other.

If he qualifies for these verse then He has a living soul.
Ge:2:7:
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground,
and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life;
and man became a living soul.

Ec:3:20:
All go unto one place; all are of the dust,
and all turn to dust again.

Ec:12:7:
Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was:
and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

The verse you provided is for the children of Adam and Eve, og which Noah was the last of the 5 fingered people. The verse below is for the 6 fingered children.

Nu:14:18:
The LORD is longsuffering,
and of great mercy,
forgiving iniquity and transgression,
and by no means clearing the guilty,
visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.

Bet you didn't expect to end up with a flock of your own flock, lol. The effort and not the result is important, after all the opening verses in Isa:65 are for those who can resist all attempts at gaining knowledge about God.

The eternal non-believer who is the one with the most post in the Christian section. News flash, to study something as long as cliffy has and come up with a 'flat-line' may mean he is the one without knowledge rather than a book that has survived intact dating back to the time Moses was dealing with an un-believing crowd. (even though I can appreciate his liking certain albums of the Moody Blues)

News Flash, they are contained, it is called Christian doctrine zone. The only thing you are proving is you don't know how to read a road map of this forum.

Mhz, they let you out of your cage! Or was that an unpaid vacation?

The bible has not survived intact. There have been many revisions by various popes and the KJ version has 13 missing books, not to mention the many mistranslations and misinterpretations, especially your misinterpretations.

I'm doing fine and in good stead with my Creator. It is your soul that I fear for.

Me, it doesn't need anymore for it to be important. Unlike you and the usual suspects who need to constantly re-enforce that you are ond the 'right side'. If you can't clue into that what more is there that needs to be said?? GTFU

You would bhe surprised what HHO gas and the mid east can bring down on your plate.

Did you forget I have the 'great computer' working on my side? Need a link to the soundtrack?
Your soul (and mine and a lot more) were secured at the moment of conception. It is you who are so far behind that you think you are ahead rather than it being me.

If you think my view on what happened at the Syria/Iraq border is flawed then start with that.

That you know of, ever wonder why you and most of the posters on this site are totally void of any insight into God? Are you auditioning to be the harlot of Re:17 and 18??

Maybe being put in the ditch from as typo error is why you are as void on enlightenment as you are. (as that was the whole of what you got so far in this (and many other posts)

I know what most is in a general group, you are a group of one (1) judging the post of a few and for the Bible that would be way less than 50% here, more like 5%, ... if that.

lol IF the dude existed on the planet at one time, he would long ago have turned into dust, so no, I would say he HAS no soul.
IF there is such a thing as a "soul" (I mean to the extent of some lifeforce rather than a colloquial term for a human being), the probabilities are that it actually is a term for "mind".
But then faith causes minds to breach probabilities and reason to create an awful lot of surreal things.

The living sould dies, that is dust of the earth and the breath of life as I already posted. on death the body goes back to dust and the person's breath of life returns to God, just like the verses I posted say.

If you want to debunk me (and get rid of me at the same time) that is your best bet. Post #8 would be a good pace to start a reply if the topic is to be covered. Only the different take on generations is not really explored at this point.

JLM, post #18 doesn't have a question in it so what post should I be looking at??

Meh. Not worth the effort. There's no reliable evidence of gods existing in the first place and little, if anything other than unreliable and unverified testimonial evidence, suggesting the existence of this "Jesus", which makes anything from the Bible pretty much hearsay. Just as there is no evidence suggesting the existences of souls. But you go ahead and keep believing the conjurings of ancient minds to be true anyway.
