The following is a link to a site pertaining to the Allan Schoenborn case, and the petition started by members of the victims' family, to see changes made to the law as it pertains to people found 'not criminally responsible' for their crimes. Please peruse, and pass along if you find it a petition you can support.

Sometimes there is a reason people are not responsible for their crimes. Now if you are asking
to tighten up the law so it can't be applied in almost every case I agree. There are sets of
circumstances, mental illness, and so on. Now religious visions, or honor killings, being drunk
or high on meth, no those are not reasonable reasons to be excused for committing a crime.
In fact there should be a special law that if you are high on a hard drug like cocaine, and so on
they should automatically tack on another five to ten years that way the excuse would not come
up.
