Maybe once this old fart of an internationalist Stalinist is gone, maybe the NDP can return to being a true socialist party that cares about Canadians?

With a goatee he could easily pull of the Lenin look. I bet he wears one while practicing speeches at the cottage with his Maoist wife reading quotes from White Snow, Red Blood.

Exactly.

We are fortunate in this country to have political leaders (and I mean all of the Federal party leaders) that are dedicated to the ideals of democracy and liberty....to one degree or another.

I wouldn't wish cancer on my worst enemy.

And Jack is FAR from that!

I have a picture of myself with Pinochet's wife. She runs a little museum in Santiago dedicated to her husband.

I know plenty of people born before 1950 and none of them looks as sickly as Layton

Whatever, I am glad the human life span isn't unlimited. Having Jack Layton as "the leader" (like Kim-Il Song) of the NDP for 500+ years would be horrible. It's about time the barking dinosaur is replaced.
