That depends on whose hope you're talking about.
If you are refering to the working class people, well, we haven't had any hope of our lives getting better for a long time.
If you are referring to the people in Ottawa and their rich corporate buddies, they have much hope that the general public will remain apathetic to their actions so they can get even richer at our expense.
As for this tempest in a teapot.....the absolute stupidity of "got ya" politics is overwhelming at times.
