Alberta Conservatives: Built on Lies and Deceit!

For starters, the Alberta Sustainability Fund was a 100% PR program with no basis in fact. At best it is an index of borrowed money. In reality it was a plan to draw on AIM collateral to borrow or siphon money out of. You can understand why Alberta fought so hard against a Federal Securities Regulator!

Much of Alberta Pensions under direct or indirect control of the Conservatives are riding in this! They will tell you it is a pension investment and if it goes south? That is the way it goes. Free money for them.

The Conservatives used this jargon to convince Albertans they had a plan! We all know better now.

We are paying hundreds of Millions on Centrifuge operations in Mildred Lake and our conventional oil royalty is down to 5% Canadian$. (Compare that to 30% US of our neighbors)

They want us to fork out a billion for a pipeline to the coast to supply India with oil. You will not Stelmach did not ask, he said he was going to do it so, dig in.

And finally, the outright lie of us making money on the CCS 2.4 billion dollar lie.
It has been flushed out that the CCS is being paid by taxpayer who gets stuck with 100% of that bill. However they will proceed and you will pay!
The Carbon Capture was touted as returning billions back to the taxpayer in royalty. However, this Government has reduced the royalty on that segment of the industry to 5% Canadian over five years. This doesn't cover administration. You will remember Liepert telling Alaska they charge too much for royalty!




Our royalty take is the lowest in the world's history! If there is a chance there will be money made it will be used to further reduce royalty. It is a no win system for this Province under the Conservatives.

The Wild Rose Party offers no different except for their push to stop balance of payments; making Quebec the villain in their campaign; saying they will recover 5 billion a year that now goes to balance of payments.


In truth, the Conservatives are the only thing that is putting this province at risk!

There has been a lot of mismanagement by the tories in the last decade or so, and its been more pronounced under Ed the Pig Farmer but the problem is there really isn't any viable alternative to the PCs in Alberta. Social Credit ceased to exist yyears ago, the Liberals are hopeless (not to mention their brand name was forever poisoned by Trudeau to 90% of Albertans) and the NDP is worse.

Carbon capture is a scam. The oil companies NEED CO2 as a solvent to renew old wells and "thin out" the heavy oil in situ as a solvent for easier extraction and refining.

Trudeau came on board when there was no internet to forward thinking on. This left the field open for Conservative home town constituent meetings and a tory owned and operated press gallary.

The NEP was a key in their propaganda. It was designed to increase Canadian Ownership in the Tar Sands which, it did. Tar Sands were just starting their build and home town industry was encouraged to get involved. This resulted in homes and farms being mortgaged to the hilt to start an oil support business.

Oil dropped to 10.00 per bbl when considered in today's dollars and the province crashed. The Conservatives blamed this onto the NEP and billed it as the guys in the east after our gold along with PQ is the enemy. And, it worked for them.

The evils of the NEP was taught in schools perpetrating half truth and lies.

It is a point of view but, the Liberals are now telling people what they can do rather than chipping at a screwed up Government. It's fresh and it rings true and good. I see them as our best alternative to a new Government.

Trudeau throwing the bird didn't help anything.

This is so very true! More over they have done the same thing time and time again. Short fund something then, give privatization as the only possible fix.

Their first moves were on the public campgrounds in Alberta. Most were privatized! How they did it stinks! Some of the campgrounds had received millions of dollars of Federal improvements to water, docking facilities running water and shower and in some cases managers houses. All Federal Liberal cash pumped in.

Then, a call for bids for the Camp Grounds and next the awarding of who the new owners are.

It was clearly sill another insider thing. Never were we given a list of who bid or the corresponding list of what was bid. And, this same practice continues today - Look at the Mc Murray land auction. If they are auctioning the land the deals have already been made!

They must have used the same playbook as Mike Harris in Ontario. We are soon to revisit the new neocon screwing under the leadership of Mike Harris Light..............Tim? Hudak; as McLiar has run his course and will soon be history. Dippers are a non entity, and the Greens don't have much of a chance.
