Just heard on Global News tonight that several of our M.P.s charged up over $500000 last year in travel expenses, including one M.P. who flies his whole family back and forth to Ottawa from northern B.C. What's with this sh*t? Is there no way of stopping it? Is there no cap on travel expenses? One of the worst offenders was an N.D.P. member, so it's obviously not just Harper. Do we need a carpenter to shorten up the trough? Anyone have ideas how to stop this nonsense?
