One could argue Pierre Elliott Trudeau’s time as prime minister his legacy speaking of deficits…………..
Then came Brian Mulroney to fix things, unfortunatly Mulroney left $a waping $40Billion deficit and could not fix anything other than his pockets (BROWN BAGS) doing side deals in Germany........................
Looking back in the mid 70’s the US had a bad economic fall out as a result of the VIET NAM American war. The Economy at the time was struggling, from low investment confidence around the globe and opportunity for economic advancement was very weak,
Trudeau had no choice but to resort to a deficit given the global economic circumstance…….
As we have witnessed the Federal Liberals have come back and cured a serius problem...................
12BILLION in surplusses and huge debt paid down by the Federal Liberals.....
