PETITION FOR CANADIAN 9/11 INVESTIGATION TO BE READ INTO PARLIAMENT TUESDAY JUNE 10th, 2008

Vancouver BC,
Drew Noftle
5-6-8
A few months ago various 9/11 Truth activists across Canada got together to compose a Parliamentary Petition demanding an investigation into 9/11. The first 500 signatures were submitted last week, verified, and accepted. This petition will be read into Parliament on Tuesday June the 10th, at approx 10 am EST, by East Vancouver member of Parliament Libby Davies.
Our Petition can be found here:
http://www.marchonottawa2008.org/index.php?option=com_docman&Itemid=31

The 9/11 attacks not only killed 24 Canadians, but it is also our sole reason for participating in – and now enduring – the War on Terror. Upon the outset of the War in Afghanistan, former US Secretary of State Colin Powell (who will be in Vancouver June 12th) promised Canada a whitepaper linking the September 11th attacks with Osama bin Laden in exchange for our premature participation in the conflict in Afghanistan. This whitepaper never came, yet our troops are still fighting abroad.
To date, the United States of America has yet to convict a single person in a court of law for the crimes of September 11th. Both official US reports, The 9/11 Commission Report and the NIST Federal Building and Fire Safety Investigation of the World Trade Center Disaster created more questions than answers, and cannot be credited as final accounts. Thus, in absence of our whitepaper or any other credible report, Canada must now take it upon itself to investigate the crimes of September 11th, not only for the sake of those in Canada who lost their loved ones, but also to justify our war efforts in Afghanistan, or to bring a cause for an immediate withdrawal.
Ms. Davies, who is the deputy leader of the Federal NDP, has served as an MP in East Vancouver since 1997, easily winning in 4 consecutive elections. We would like to call on all Canadians to please send her an email thanking her for doing what she can to bring the topic of 9/11 into the Canadian Parliament: Davies.L@parl.gc.ca.
Although this petition has already been submitted, we still wish to collect as many signatures as we can to show our true numbers. These yet to be collected signatures will then be added to our current tally, and a total will be read outside of Parliament on September 11th 2008 in support of bringing our demands to fruition. This rally on Parliament Hill, will succeed a March on Ottawa, that will start in Montreal QC, 5 day's earlier This March on Ottawa will be the first nationally organized 9/11 Truth event here in Canada and we are anticipating on having thousands of marchers and participants rally with us in Ottawa: www.marchonottawa2008.org
If you have yet to sign this petition, please do, and mail a copy in to our mailing address:

I was thinking about Libby Davies. I really like her.......

Were I Prime Minister, I would appoint Libby Davies to a cabinet portfolio. She would be absolutely invaluable in any heated cabinet debate.

Just think, when the arguments got to the point that they simply were head-banging sessions, when everybody was angry, when it was at the point the slightest compromise was being defied by both sides as a point of honour, one could turn to Libby and say: "What is your opinion?"

Nothing could possibly provide more much-needed comic relief than a chubby, lesbian, socialist, true-believing do-gooder that talks like Elmer Fudd. Especially when she is in high dungeon.

When the laughter died down, the impasse could be broken.........nothing like shared laughter to encourage cabinet members to re-examine their positions with an eye to compromise......

I really do like the woman.....she is sooooo sincere........it is hilarious.

This seems like a good idea. If Canada covers 9/11 up too then we'll have a better idea of how deep this conspiracy actually goes  Are our elite in on it too? :angry3:

(yes, I'm kidding)

Wo-ah!

Sincerity is a good thing....it is why I sincerely like Libby Davies. :)

Sincerity in believing the outlandish is amusing.........ridiculous positions expounded upon in outrage, in a voice like Elmer Fudd .........is inevitably hilarious.

Have your sense of humour tuned.

Ultimately...what does your group want or expect with this petition? Just curious.

Hello Ron,
let me first say that I'll do my best to answer any questions that you or anyone would like to add to this forum.
To answer your question, I would first draw your attention to the petition text itself. We have spent quite some
time on preparing it, drawing from our group's focus of raising awareness about 9/11.

Here is the text:

PETITION TO THE HONORABLE GOVERNMENT OF CANADA

We, the undersigned citizens of Canada

and

their scientific representative from
Architects and Engineers for 911 Truth,
Richard Gage, AIA

who now avail themselves of their ancient and undoubted right thus to present a grievance common to your Petitioners in the certain assurance that your honourable House will therefor provide a remedy, humbly sheweth our belief that there is sufficient doubt about the omissions and inconsistencies in the official United States of America 9/11 Commission Report to justify opening a 9/11 investigation in Canada. Foremost, the official United States of America 9/11 Commission Report omits new scientific evidence of the use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and the collapse of the third World Trade Center Building 7. And, as a result, Canada now being a partner with the United States of America in the Global War of Terror, therefore has a responsibility to verify the findings of the United States of America 9/11 Commission Report before committing our military and other resources to the conflict.

THEREFORE,

your petitioners pray for the Government of Canada to commence,

A CANADIAN INVESTIGATION
OF THE 9/11 TERRORIST ATTACKS

with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapse of the World Trade Center Towers and the collapse of the third World Trade Center Building 7. The investigation should have a full public inquiry using the new scientific evidence from Architects and Engineers for 911 Truth. We also request that the Government of Canada meet with our scientific representative, Richard Gage, AIA as part of this investigation.

Your petitioners, as in duty bound, will ever pray,

The Undersigned

Yeah, I wonder what such an investigation would cost - to find out what we already know- that the W.T.C. was knocked down by 19 Muslim terrorists with planes.

Colpy, I believe you meant 'high dudgeon'.

What a completely pointless waste of time. 9/11 is an American event; as such, our Parliament has no business asking for a commission on truth. Setting aside, of course, the idea that there is no need for a commission; the truth was quite obvious to those who watched the events unfold.

Seeing that the attacks occurred beyond Canadian jurisdictional territorial boundaries, the Canadian Parliament has no authority to investigate this. At most, it could request, through its ambassador to the US, for the US authorities to investigate it, or permission for Canada to investigate it; or, through its Ambassador to the UN to present a UN resolution requesting the UN or some other third party to investigate it.

That's about as much as Canada can do that I would approve of. And even the first option of Canada requesting through its US Ambassador to be offensive on the grounds that Canada is then meddling in what is clearly US jurisdictional boundaries. For Canada to insist that it reserves the right to investigate this stinks of imperialism. Canada does not govern US soil and aught not to either.

I am highly offended at US laws imposed on US citizens beyond their territorial boundaries (e.g. US citizens traveling to Cuba, or US companies not being allowed to trade with Cuba from foreign soil).

I even oppose Canadian laws that prosecute Canadians who engage in pedophilia abroad. Now please understand that I oppose pedophilia, support the work of Interpol, and certainly believe all countries ought to have the strictest laws with regards to pedophilia. My problem with Canada enforcing its pedophilia laws beyond Canadian soil though is with the principle of the equality of nations in the international community. Just as US citizens ought not to be subject to US laws when in Canada, so Canadian citizens should not be subject to Canadian laws when abroad either. By definition, a nation which imposes its laws beyond its national jurisdictional boundaries is imperialism.

If Canada has any issue with the US investigation of 9/11, then it ouht to take it up at the UN, and let the majority of nations decide. It's not up to Canada to impose its will on the US unanimously.

If the UN wants to set up a commission, fine. But it's not in Canada's place to set up a commission to investigate an event on foreign soil.

Actually, I'm quite surprised that a New Democrat should support this seeing that, after all, New Democrats are so outspoken against imperialism.

I think the point is that Canada got snookered into a war based on 911 and if 1100 engineers and architects think there is something fishy about the official story, then it is in Canada's best interests to find out what the truth is. We have no business getting involved in wars based on lies.
