The voters in 1990 Ontario were mad pissed with both the Conservatives and Liuberals. They had just ended a 40-year era of Conservative rule and wouldn't want to elect an inexperienced Mike Harris as Premier. David Peterson on the other hand got the raft for supporting Meech Lake and calling an election much too quickily. Voter distrust for both the Libs and Cons resulted in a NDP majority government under the then 42-year old Bob Rae (who is now a Liberal).
I've been noticing similar trends with Federal politics recently. The people seem to be tired of both the Conservatives and the Liberals, and they are desparate for some change. Do you think this would result in an NDP majority government like it did in 1990 Ontario?
