I'm inclined to agree with Durka. I haven't read either memoir, and I don't plan to. I'm really not interested in reading whatever self-serving crap they're likely to dish out, and the reviews I've read of the two books so far suggest that's pretty much all they are. I might borrow them from the library when they show up there, but I'm not going to buy them. I really don't care how great those guys think they are. Trudeau, while I strongly disagreed with a lot of what he did, at least had something deep on his mind; I don't think Mulroney or Chretien ever had a deep thought in their lives.
