I convinced a young man I worked with this summer to go get some training in electronics. His father(our foreman) wanted him to go into construction, but he didn't want to. I told him he could have a career with CSIS as an interpreter or other information gathering careers. He was all gung ho about that, and set about researching what avenues would best service that end. He's a good Canadian kid. A good Canadian Muslim kid.

Most Muslims are very comfortable here, and they want their peace disturbed as much as you or I. The Toronto plot would have likely happened were it not for the intervention of Muslims who do not share the same message of hate.

The Muslim community's attention is focused on giving elderly teachers 40 lashes and prison sentences for naming teddy bears after their stinky, pedophile, prophet at the moment...

They can only handle so much you know...
No the imbecile community is focused on one stupid story about one stupid person and jumps on it to conduct hate crimes. I'm almost certain that you have backward stupid clergy in your own community. They who can only handle so much what?

It seems to me like most kids in the burbs, they get frustrated and bored out of their minds and look for some way to rebel. Finding someone who feeds that angst can turn into a problem but I think that there are very few with messed up enough to actually go along with it to the end.

While it's not impossible, turning someone into a killer isn't as easy as all that. It would be good though, if we could find something to attract kids that aren't jocks or rich preps into something that they find worth while after school and in the evening.

I now hear they want this lady executed - these are primitive societies and a primitive people- they should be left to their own devices -and we should have nothing to do with them -no aid-no arms-no technology, nothing - they cite how evil we all are, but don't mind using our technology or any other means to destroy us.

I agree Lester....any society that promotes the killing of their own citizens doesn't deserve to be considered anything beyond primitive.

...we all know most of terrorists are coming from either Egypt and Saudi Arabia..not Canada or U.S. or....so on. [Some Britain and France [The recent riot has something do with that, they weren't necessary "Muslim" but Africans and Arabs]...because of racial discrimination and oh yes, Germany too]
Reason why some Muslims go radical is--for me--call for attention* theoretically.
For instance, Cairo--very populated city--has two societies poor and rich.
As you would imagine, gap between them is similar to that of London from the beginning of monarch up to 1900s. Rich are SUPER rich and poor are SUPER poor. Imagine hordes of kids without school to go to, day-care, Internet [LOL], and playground, searching for help. Guess who comes into their rescue? Hamas...oh oh..Al-Qaeda...
Bullcrap
Its not because "they want to do it" its because "they don't know any better"
And "they" I mean young terrorists fighting in Iraq and volunteering for suicide missions.

But I know... how can we forget those fanatics who would read their Qu'ran every morning, lunch, and dinner at least...forever? And bombed and planned 9/11 [according to politically correct story] and..so on?
And remember, crazy terrorists who seem to be educated don't go to suicide mission...because they know better lol [Osama cough cough and clerics..]

So I have proposition:
1. Send Israeli aid to poor in Egypt and Saudi.

DB, you double putz, you've got a long list of websites of Cdn Muslim organizations denouncing violence. Namely, zero.

You say:

"Change the crap for a channel you're watching, I hear them distance themselves constantly, and while I'm at we give our official state terrorists good wages and medals for the same death and destruction we condemn in S Bombers. Most terrorism is conducted against Muslims not by Muslims ya putz. Yer wrong and I'v corrected you, send the check ,you can get the address on the way out."

Or say, where are the moderate Muslims denouncing the fanatics who wanted to condemn the English teacher in Sudan who named a teddy bear "Mohammed"? Or the gang raped woman in Saudi Arabia who got 200 lashes? Show me their statements. Nauseating.

G(g)od and all religion is very dated and very dead. Except of course female goddesses on the beach.

Muslims run from terroists far more than any other people on the planet. Muslims are the worlds leading victims of terrorism. TWOT is for dummys. It's to enrage and entertain you while you digest your cheeseburgers. Forget it get some beer.

Let me use a very silly example here shall I.

You wake up one morning and your neighbours window is broken. You dont know what happened, who did it , all you know is that you had nothing to do with it. You're mad that a lowlife would do something so pathetic. Do you go over and apologise and give a speech to your neighbour about breaking the window?

To summarize we believe in PEACE>. I'm far too annoyed to go on.

Just look back and see how we averted danger last year. Many muslims hate Canada and despise Canadian values and freedoms and because of this 17 islamic terrorists attempted an attack in Toronto.
I think its time you went past your doorstep. I for one AM a Muslim and a very proud Canadian. Dont tell us how we feel. We're capable of it ourselves thank you kindly.

The ignorance. Please read "The idiots guide to Islam." I dont mean to imply you're an idiot or anything...thats just the title of the book. I enjoyed it, so I would suggest you pick it up and take a look. Its a good read. None of the heavy stuff.

This was interesting. Its about how one small town in Morocco has bread a lot of terrorists.

My favourite part is when the author says that while one of the young men was railing against the United States, he was wearing a baseball cap with the word AMERICA stitched boldly in gold on the cap.

What does being a responsible member of the global community mean? Does the global community exist? Who do we help? I bet if we do the math we help nobody.

I would think that a responsible member would entail peaceful coexistance with other Nations and be a democracy which abides by basic Human rights- I would have no problem with my Country giving aid if this basic ground work was laid - but all I see is the aid going into one warlord or another's swiss bank account and the people still living in poverty and despair. Going into, and occupying a country doesn't really work, the people resent the occupiers for poking their nose in their business and next thing you know there are dozens of factions fighting an all out civil war.
