So just for the record, I hate the freaking Alberta PC party (especially under "King" Ralph's rule). And i refused to be a two second tory (buy a membership just to vote for the leader).
But with that said, I must say that I have a certain sense of relief that Ed Stalmach is leading the race so far. I can't see him not winning under any circumstance since he is doing so well, because Ted Morton (the guy I fear) is a distant third. And word is that Morton and Dinning people hate each other, so i'm certain that even if Ed comes in 2nd without a majority by Dinning, that Morton's second votes will go to Stelmach. Or if he does come in 1st and Dinning third, Dinning's second votes will go to Ed. So it's really win win.
So I'm not saying that I will EVER support this archaic party, but I might just sleep a bit better if i knew that Morton or Dinning won't lead the party...particularly Morton.
