Did the mounties do wrong?

Today, the B.C. civil liberties union is calling for an investigation of the R.C.M.P. They are alleging that the mounties interfered with our last election by going public with the income trust scandal.Would you rather have kinown about this during the election or after? Did it influence your vote?

So the question is: why does the BC CLU think it has the right to deny Canadians knowledge of the practices of its government? Surely, the organization has better things to do than state our natural state is ignorance.
