This is an interesting little bit of info.

According to the Standing Orders of the House of Commons, Section 158(2), people who have been arrested by the Seargent-at-Arms have to pay a fee before they can be released back into society. How much is this fee?, you might be wondering. Let's check into the Standing Orders, and see for ourselves.

Section 158(2) of the Standing Orders of the House of Commons said:
158. (2) No stranger who has been committed, by Order of the House, to the custody of the Sergeant-at-Arms, shall be released from such custody until he or she has paid a fee of four dollars to the Sergeant-at-Arms.
I see; quite the expensive crime it is, to invade the House of Commons, eh? We are going to have to inform our neighbours to the South that if they want to invade Canada, they had better bring some bus fare. They are going to need it to escape the House, if they're caught. :D
