Apparently Stephen Harper will take part in the "Your Turn" segment of The National tonight. I hope he is forced to explain some of the things he has said in the past:

If he can demonstrates that he has reversed his extreme right wing views and moved towards the center, I will likely vote conservative. Health care is a big one; if he doesn't say he will drop his views on private health care, I can't vote conservative (I’ll never be able to afford private health care for my aging parents).

That link leads to some very scary statements by or about Harper. I hope he is pressed to explain these statements. I'm suprised at the amount of people who have not read this speech and his other statements. Saying he was just doing his job for the NCC will not cut it. Come on he was the VP and key policy advisor.

Haper is a Bush wanker. He is beyond conservative. He's like a big business Taliban. And he's not a libertarian at all. I urge regular Canadian conservatives who are pissed with the liberals to vote for anyone but Harper. Vote Green or NDP or the MJ party or anyone but a Harperite. Just this once. Go ahead and vote a liberal out but for the sake of our nation don't vote in Harper. Just wait, work hard and build a decent conservative party with a decent leader. I'm mean just read the '97 speech. Thats not Canadian.

Lets hope Harper gets asked the hard questions and be forced to let his true colors show. Time for him to be accountable.
