A friend just e-mailed me the link to this new site, that seems to be non-partisan (but obviously not a friend of Harper and the Conservatives) pointing about Harper's stance on Kyoto and the environment.

Welcome to the site, bowlingforcanada.

Kyoto is indeed important. Harper's strategy, much like George Bush's is to ignore the future in favour of quick and easy profits, especially for the fossil fuel industry, right now.

It is basically an anti-science, pro-greed stand that Harper and Bush are taking. They lack the will to understand, or to care, that short-term profits now mean long term losses in the future.

They are greed-hogs and should be shipped off to some island with no technology whatsoever so that they can no longer endanger the rest of us.
